Anyone have a recommendation for a motel near Suches for March Badness? I was thinking about staying in Dahlonega, but if someone wants to throw some business to a motel that derserves business anwhere up there, tell me about it.

We were going to park the camper here: http://www.highvalleyresort.com/
But they have some top secret gubmint b'shid going on that week and the whole place has been reserved by the military. MR know of anywhere else real close to T.W.O. I can park my camper? we'll probably just be tenting it or lodging it with everyone else.

I am going to be leaving early in the morning on Friday, the 31st, so I should be getting there just before lunch time.
I had thought about taking a detour down to Snellville to see my father-in-law then schleping over to SMHD before I venture north.

MR, Thanks, but the whole not riding hwy 60/180 in the dark with alcoholic assistance was the goal, as well as having my own bed...S'awright, we'll tent it or sleep with a snoring, drooling mass of 3%'ers. It was just a good idea at the time to be able to haul the trailer.

We'll know sometime tomorrow if we'll make it. Dad has his appointment with the heart surgeon and they'll be making the date to replace his aortic (sp) valve and do the bypasses. We did stop by the local AutoZone and loaded up on fluids so if it's logistically possible we're ready to roll. Right now only the doctor knows my schedule.
