What is the DB level for a vance and hines exhaust on a stock header 2000 x1? I need it for the japanese compulsary inspection i have to get on my bike |

Couldn't give you a DB number, but my new V&H is as "quiet" as an aftermarket could be.I like it, and its not much louder than stock- until I whack it ! !

Tsi...you should be able to go down the the Police station, and get have them do a DB check....I kown there are noise laws in most areas.... Chase |

ok, so guyes, IM IN JAPAN now!!!! the bike will be here in 37 more days, and i cant just pay the 200 dollars to do a noise check, fail it, and be out the money. Can someone please hook me up with a DB reading so i know if i have to find a stock exhaust or not? and yes, its on its way here!!! |

on a brand new ss2r with the standard baffle is rated for 85db, with the race baffle it's 105db. (Message edited by tripp on March 03, 2006) |
