Terry, I know it's really early to ask but... are you guys gonna send Bilansky or Cicotto out here for the T-200? Think $50,000 for the podium... We'll get your crew a place to sleep, a bunch of experienced, dedicated pit crew - try to keep your expenses down. it'd be cool to see at least 2 Buells in the Toyota 200 (Bartels is looking likely to try one) |

Did anyone notice this statement from the article Blake linked: “It’s my first time ever on a banking so it’s quite daunting,” said McWilliams, who along with Pascal Picotte, Mike Ciccotto and Steve Crevier will race in the 65th Daytona 200 By Honda on Saturday, March 11 aboard Buells." I thought Picotte wouldn't be riding an XBRR due to contractual conflicts. Is the article correct? |

Referring to Picotte Racing as a team. Steve is the pilot. |

What_the, thanks for the clarification. I saw 4 names and thought they indicated the 4 riders. They left out the German guy. |

Apparently the some of this press release was made up. Road Racing World now says that McWilliams is NOT taking the Team Hammer school at Daytona today after all. And that Pascal Picotte is not riding a Buell XBRR, but Rico Penzkofer is. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?article=25144 (Message edited by jima4media on March 02, 2006) |

It uses the slider bosses as lower fairing mounts: one part, two jobs... |

Effing cool . Finally we see a guy in not so perfect black jeans, a Harley-T and a pony-tail on the paddock at Daytona . Sweet . Almost brings back memories of the old days before corporate America got a-hold of racing . |

That guy with the pony tail was wearing a Talladega Testing Facility shirt all weekend. We were pitted next to the XBRR's and that is our red trailer right by his left shoulder. Those bikes are unbelievable. As far as the fogged up visor... I watched that race and rico passed the duck coming into the straight before the international horse shoe and wheelied the bike coming out of the horse shoe while distancing the ducati about 5 bike lengths it was awesome. Marchetti got back by him between there and the chicane when rico passed him back again for the final time. Maybe his visor was fogging in the horse shoe also... |
