Unsure of how to correctly place the straps for a factory small buell tank bag. or if I even have the correct straps |

I dont have the factory bag on my X1...BUT.... I went through the mess at the neck...where the 4 frame rails come together... and for the rear(if the faxcorybag has a rear mount), I went through where the tank/seat mounts. I dont know if that helps or not...but,.... Chase |

wES i DONT HAVE THE FACTORY BAGS, IF THIS HELPS, FRONT STRAP, DOWN ACROSS FRONT OF TANK, UNDER AND BEHIND THE STEERING HEAD, UP ACROSS THE TANK, oops , No chafing issues front, rear I routed the strap through the frame near the tank seat junction (Like Chase) (sorry about the caps not yelling) the rest of the story I used a back pack and cut off the back straps, sewed webbing to the pack, the buckles are available in a fabric store, 30$ pack 15$ materials if you want them I will send pix |

Thanks guys. I found out what the problem is. Dumb Ass HD dealership-- My wife bought me the bag for valetine day. She knows that I used to have a s1w and I now ride a x1. Thats what she told them. They sold her a freakin Blast tank bag..!!! |
