Yeah I go to ITT I wish I was in HS still LOL... I ws thinkin about starting up a independent Buell club in Michigan. I used to run the BRAG club at Motown and American HD. So what you say guys sound like a plan, I know at least 3 others that would be down, can probally get a site going again. |

Lets do it. I work just east of Hamtramck between Mound and Van Dyke, Eich. I work afternoons and I have two kids, so my schedule is kinda tight. But any excuse to ride more is welcome! |

Weekends are fine. Anyone know where I can find an oil filter? Detroit, Wolverine, Motor City, and Port Huron no longer sell to or service the likes of us. I guess $10,000 just isn't enough for a bike sold from an elitest dealership like HD. |

How about some quit hitters, early morning rides to a breakfast or lunch somewhere and than head back home to keep everyone happy? We would have to find a central meeting place that we could agree on. There are some nice rides here on the west side as I'm sure there are some on the east. These would be weekends either a Sat or Sun morning. That's for a start. |

Hows about Royal Oak? They have bike nights every weekend too, and located pretty much centrally from all of us. |

Tuesday is HD night and Thursday is UJM sportbike night. I go up there quite a bit with a local club that I belong to. The only problem is the people in the new condos are starting to complain and the police are starting to crack down on loud exhaust and such. |

Retitled this group to "Detroit Metro Hooligans". We don't want to start an alphabetic battle of Storm Fronts group names. Thanks for understanding. |

Redbull, there's Biker Bob's in Taylor. What about Detroit H/D. Nobody seems to have much support for Buell as far as any after market pieces and parts. Everything has to be ordered from Buell. You can't even get a shirt if you want one. They do have quite a bit more bolt ons now then they did when I bought my bike. I thought I read or heard somewhere that Buell was going to have independant dealerships??? |

That would be great. I'm sick of being treated like a 2nd class citizen at these dealerships. Except, of course, when I purchased my bike. Anyone else have to go through this? It gets old quick. Not that I'd prefer to be associated with the Harley crowd over the sport bikers, but I sure as hell dont need slack from someone who pays their bills with my coin. Buell should definitely go solo for sales and service. |

Everywhere I go in this state is like that now. I only have been welcomed at a few dealerships in other states... He11 I was even black balled when I worked at a dealership! That's why I started workin on Buells myself. I even have the software to re-set TPS's and trouble codes. |

I favorite was when I called to get my bike worked on and the first question out of the service manager was "Did you buy it here" That guy was such an asshat |

So far I've been very fortunate. I've been treated great at Biker Bob's formerly Motown Harley. I did buy my bike from there, but so far no problems with service and any questions I have they have been very helpful and extremely nice to me. I think the guys up there like Buells and don't mind dealing with them. They always call me and ask how I was treated. |
