Well I didn't know my own powers of persuasion! Did ya know that they're going to have vintage racing weekend there pretty soon? Yup the docent mentioned it to me while I was there. He said they might have the MV Agusta out on the track. I've seen it race at the Little Taladega track. You can shut your eyes and follow it around the track with your ears because is emits a sound somewhere between a shriek and a howl that conjurs up Dante's Inferno. Anyway, I was told to check their web site periodically - a word to the wise. Brian, hope you get your Uly soon. If you lived in Huntsville it'd probably be sometime after the elves return to the workshop from their post-Christmas vacation to Cancun. |

AHRMA was at Barber's about 2 weeks ago. I live about 10 minutes from the track in B'ham. Good Bar_B-Que at Golden Corral always makes a good carry on to Barber's as well. The museum is an all day event! Plus you can take Hwy 25 which has some curves. DAve |

I have been to the Museum.. man, that place is spectacular. I could spend days on end in that place! WELL worth the price of admission. I have been wanting to see if Mr. Barber wanted to adopt a 36 year old son . |

I want to ride the Britten. My wife points out that I probably do not have enough money to bribe Mr. Barber. Same problem. |

OK, Guys and Gals, I feel like a kid on Christmas eve right now. Just picked up my Uly that I have had on order since Sept. 3. Man is it awsome. Have only driven 47 miles so far, but it is so hard to say in the brake in period rules. Just to easy to forget. I have a blast that I am stepping up from so you can imagine my thrill factor. Anyone ever want to go riding let me know. I'm in Montgomery but love to ride. |

Buelltoys, Congrats! I am sure you will have a ton of fun on that thing. They definately look fun. Our local group rides on any given sunday, we meet at a Sonic that is located at the corner of Hwy 72 and Jordan Ln. That is about 1.5 miles north of 565 in Huntsville on Jordan Ln. You are more than welcome to come up any time and ride with us. We don't venture south much, but if I ever head that way I will definately let you know. |

That's cool Brian. I've got about 3600 miles on mine and have had it about 6 weeks. My other Buells don't see the road lately. Where'd you get yours? ..and yes...Rocket is a Harley dealership DAve (Message edited by dave on November 26, 2005) |

Got mine at Harley of Dothan. The guys were good down there. Took a while to get it in. Put a down payment 1st wk of Sept. and just got it day before thanksgiving. But since my bags weren't in yet they took the bags off of the demo bike and gave me a 5% discount on them. The guys worked with me on it so I do think they did a good job even if the wait was long. But well worth it. Plan on having about 500 by the end of the week so I can have some fun on it. brian |

Rocket Harley Davidson (they don't get the Buell added for obvious reason) has a yellow er I mean Barricade Orange Uly. I went there to have a clutch cable replaced on mine. Sure they had to order the parts .... but they came in and they fixed it while I waited. They got on it right away. So service dept scores "acceptable" as of right now. Washed it for me too. There are still more Buell logos on employee uniforms there than what ya can find in the rest of the dealership!! ...and I rode from east Birmingham to Rocket HD in 65 minutes today. DAve HAppy New Year all. Be safe this coming year. |

Takes place at Two Wheels Only motorcycle resort in Suches, GA.. home to some of the best twisties in the southeast. It is taking place the weekend of March 31st. Anyone interested? I am going. Let me know and we can caravan out there if you want. |

Guys, we're under a Winter Storm Watch through Sunday. Freezing precipitation is likely. You might want to delay a week. |

Good day everybody, I would to announce, after quite a few months of being absent, my return to BadWeb. Ratyson, how is everything with your cityX? I've got loads to update you with. Hello to all the new guys/ladies who joined our little thread. |

Hey Cody! I was just talking about you last night. We were wondering how you were since we had not heard from you in a while. the cityX is doing well, but it no longer looks like a cityx. you can go take a look at my website: www dot russtyson dot com. It is currently at the shop getting new tires, and I am waiting on my new special ops pipe to come in as well. So How have things been going with you? Russ |

I'm doing rather well. Would "we" be TVSBC? Sorry I haven't been out to see the group latley, I've been busy on the weekends with the BRC's and such. This weekend I should be able to make it though. Some updates. I got my MSF BRC RiderCoach certification back in November. I'm teaching at Rocket H-D. I'll be on the payroll as soon as I can catch a Rider's Edge IT. I had an electrical gremlin on my 9S which kept me off of two wheels for most of December and part of January. All is well for the most part. I think I've tracked it down. I've checked out the site. The bike looks nice. Something to consider, I can say from experience that the rear passenger guards & pegs will protect the tail section of the bike in the case of a lowside fall. Cheers |

Cody, That is awsome news about the msf course. That sounds like a fun way to make some money! I was actually talking to Ken from Decatur on the phone the other day, and he mentioned riding with you a while back. My bike is currently in the shop getting new tires. And I am waiting on my pipe to return from Odie @ special ops (hopefully SOON). So I am unable to ride at the moment. I will definately let you know the next time I will be out with the group! We are having a meeting tonight at Midway Cycles if you are interested. I think there will be burgers and such to eat. |

Sorry I couldn't make it. It was a bit short notice. When is the next? I'll plan for it. It sucks you're off of two wheels right when we got spring-like weather. I've been enjoying it |

The meeting happen on the first Wednesday of every month, so the next one will be on April 5th. It does suck, the weather has been beautiful all week. I figure when I get my pipe back and put it on, it will rain for about 2 weeks straight. |

A Black 12R passed me at the Wall Triana Highway meets Capshaw intersection while I was on my bike today. Would it be anyone here? Don't worry about the weather Russ, as you have seen the weather has since dropped about 20 degrees. I'm a colder weather rider, I liked it. |

Cody, There is a big meet going on in Suches, GA the end of the month (March 31 - April 2) if you are interested. It is being put on by Stone Mountain Harley Davidson and the 3%ers BRAG group are going to be there. I am going to camp there for the weekend, leaving on friday (31st) in the morning and returning on sunday. Let me know if you want to go. I have a single bike trailer, but a friend of mine has a 2 bike trailer I can borrow if you are interested. |

Thanks for the offer. I'll look into that, but I believe I will be able to attend. What time will you be leaving on Friday? I don't have much info on the event at the moment, is there a preregistration(if a registration at all)? Also, the activities to expect, fees, etc.? I would probably ride there, but I'm up for meeting up and caravaning out there if you don't mind a little extra luggage. |

I am going to try to leave probably around 8 or 9 in the morning. There is no registration. The only fee is for camping, and that is $12 per night. I can definately carry your luggage for you. |
