If you haven't done so yet, please give a shout out and a "go get 'em" to Jeremy McWilliams on his web site guest book... http://www.jeremymcwilliams.com/guestbook.php?page_action=message Please note that Jeremy and Warrs are planning to contest the Daytona 200, but have no plans at this point to contest the remainder of the AMA FX season. |

"... and run that old gray Duhamel of into the ditch on the way." Now Blake is that the type of attitude we're supposed to have here? Oh wait, yes it is. Buells Hondas |

Warrs bike looks great in the pictures. Hope it works as well as it looks. All you motor heads know about BMEP? I've been doing the math and using 167BHP @ the crank will equal 150 RWHP using 10% driveline loss. Thats 202 BMEP @ 8000rpm (HP Peak). Not much room for improvement, never heard of much more than 215 BMEP @ HP peak , Has anyone else? |

There have been a lot of performance numbers passed about for the RR, and to my ears, some mumbo-jumbo mathematics as well. Too confusing, for me. I can’t help it… I’m an eternal optimist, and choose to believe that Skully’s earlier post was accurate when he said, When Erik was in Dallas week, he talked about the shape of the fairings. He mentioned that the bike was extremely stable at 178 mph. That’s a number I can relate to. I don’t care if the RR has 12.37 BMEP, it goes 178 FREAKIN'MPH I think there’s a good chance the outcome of this race will be determined by the riders. I think my old buddy, Jeremey (well, I know him from his website) and the others have a chance to come out of this as a pretty big hero to a lot of Buell fans. |

I don't think we would have ever imagined back in the day that we would have a World Champion rider on a Buell in the Daytona 200. We had some pretty big dreams but mine never stetched that far. Erik's might have. |

Here's what I told him....McWill, As a "colonist" of Welsh heritage I would graciously invite you to ride the RR as we say in America "Like you stole it." In other words :giv em hell. I sure would like to see flames shooting from the underslung exhaust too; if you have the time. NUTS |

Don't dare count out Ciccotto. That man is an animal on the bike and as fit as they come. He's ready. He's been ready for a long long time. Wish he had a web page too. |

Captpete, I hope the RR will go 178 mph! I'm riding down to Daytona to WATCH IT and more importantly to HEAR IT sing on the banking. I haven't been this jazzed up since the last time I heard the BRITTEN out on the high banks , that's been along time ago. GO BUELL !!!!!! |

I've met and talked to 'Psycho' Mike.. he's a nice, quite boy that undergoes some sort of sick transformation when he puts on leathers and mounts up.. Remember, in the recent past he's put up some very good finishes for a guy riding a tweaked 'Street' Buell (ok, how many of us thought we'd be able to say that?) .. as opposed to his new ride.. a Full Bore Crazed Conversion Street BUELL!.. I think we'll see some really good racing and I would LOVE to see a podium.. or three..Hmmm..Four maybe... Now, if some of the names that were on that list AMA published actually do ride the 200.. I mean, I saw Hodgeson, Mladin, DuHamel, Zempke, Spies, Yates etc.. Let's face it.. If they are riding this race.. then someone is afraid of the little company in Wisconsin.. and that's a good thing.. hehehehehehee... |

You've got a pretty good ride ahead of you, Steve. I wish I were back home and could say I'd join you for the last three hours of it. But I doubt I'll even be able to find a place to watch it out here at 3am or therabouts. Count yourself lucky, and pay attention; I'm going to have to experience it vicariously via the BadWeB. |

An Irishman on a Buell.....has to be winning combination. Just got from the first tests of the season at Kirkistown and Bishopscourt and lo and behold there was another Buell on the track at Kirkistown...that means that 50% of the Buells in ireland are being used for track purposes....inspired no doubt by Jeremy. |

Surveyor, I need a cool Irish roadracing shirt. All my mates wear the hurling shirts and while I can appreciate a game played with clubs it is not Road Racing. Know where I can get something cool? |
