Woof. Just got home - it is a bit nippy out there! I started cranking the electrics up higher than I've had them in quite a while. |

Engles the BMW dealership or you can buy direct from Gerbing. |

I will have to make a note of that. I just bought some CRG bar end mirrors and a new leather jacket, so it may have to wait till next winter. (You gotta spread some of these purchases out so they don't show up on the wife radar!) |

I bought the Harley ones on Ebay tonight for $85.00 on a buy itnow retail $165.00 They're made by Gerbings but they have the one hand or teeth elastic cord which I prefer over the Gerbing which has the velcro strip. Do a ebay search for heated gloves. These are like the bigger thicker Gerbings. |

You can get Widder electric gear from the cycle place on 24 highway in Indep,Hubb Cycle. They are lots cheaper than Gerbing, but have a vest with arms that snap to the vest that you can remove, the lowers for your legs are like chapps, and they have the electric gloves.I have rode less than 11 degrees at 85 MPH,and was toasty warm. The temp controller goes from 1-7,have never had to go above 5.If anyone wants to see what the Widder are like,I can bring them to the next BRAG meeting. |

Sounds like a good theme for a winter BRAG meeting: Everyone bring their cold weather gear and show it around. |

La_Salle - I was able to get some Panoptx Siraccos. I'll bring them by in a couple of weeks and show them to True_Blue and y'all. (The prescription lenses take 7-10 days). These will take up to +/- 7 without an adapter, depending on which company grinds the lenses. |

I just spoke to KCIR they are NOT closing, their not sure where the idea of them closing is coming from but it's not true. I wanted to confirm that since the first of our two VROD destroyers arrived today, thought I would let everyone know. TO ALL-That was a great BRAG meeting last night, I am looking forward to the some of the events and rides that we discussed. I will be leaving tomorrow and be gone till next Wednesday, Gail is sending me to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Buell/HD Back to the Track 2 classes, I doubt I will have access to the internet while there so I will catch up on the BadWeb when I get back, talk to you all later. |

Loren-Its classes put together by Harley-Davidson University and the Freddie Spencer race school. Sunday I will be at the track riding the Buells along with our competitors bikes, this allows me to understand the benefits of the Buells over our competitors bikes. Monday and Tuesday will be the same thing but for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I am looking forward to it for sure, leaving 20 degree weather for 70 degree weather and a big benefit to me is riding all the different models. Its easier to sell motorcycles when you can speak of your personal experience. |

I'm tentatively in for camping. I will be able to confirm in the next couple of days. I have to notify the spousal unit. This will require level two authorization since it comes within 30 days of an autonomous deployment to the Lake of the Ozarks to snag some spoonbill. |
