Chris, No worries. I find your posts extremely thoughtful and entirely unoffensive. Some folks try too hard to be offended. I might even fit that characterization sometimes myself. But I'm working on that. |

Well since I have an Aprilia I am very offended that Blake would rather have a Ducati! |

Clyde, This ain't about you, but You do understand that when the word "but" is used in a statament everything said before that word is negated. Thanks for sharing.

Why are you here Clyde? I repeat with appropriate correction:
Clyde, This ain't about you, and your recently adopted adversarial stance here is VERY disappointing to me. No problem thoughtfully reported here is ever viewed as offensive. If you know of any case where someone so aired a problem and was met with anyting other than thoughtful advise, please do show it to me. I defy you to do so. That is not what BadWeB is about. BadWeB is ALL about diagnosing and helping folks resolve issues/problems and yes even helping to bring issues to the attention of the folks who are in a position to take action. That kind of constructive content is encouraged and applauded here, always has been, always will be. Period. But Clyde, please don't confuse that kind of very constructive content with outright negativity, naysaying, passive-aggressive put-downs and other belittling muelings of the minnions. (credit to Snail for that cool phrase) One type of critical commentary is helpful, productive and incredibly positive in nature and effect; the other is unhelpful, unproductive, and horribly negative/offputting. Surely you can see the difference. Your horrible overgenralizations and sarcasm are not constructive Clyde. No one wants to sweep anything under the carpet here, and I defy you to show me where that has ever been the case here. If you know of any specific instance where that kind of attitude has governed here at the direction of board custodians or prominent contributors, please let me know. I think I see where you are coming from old buddy. I don't get it. Why the animosity and antagonism? Care to level with me on that? (Message edited by blake on February 14, 2006) |

Seems to me that some folks feel like they should be able to deride and/or lampoon Buell here absent serious rebuttal. Then when they do face serious rebuttal, they revert to whining about it. Silly? LOL! I'd say so, on account of this is an online community of Buell motorcycle enthusiasts, meaning we try to keep the place constructive and positive concerning Buell, Buell dealers, and Buell motorcycles. Again, this absolutely does not make discussion of problems or issues unwelcome here. On the contrary, it is EXACTLY such thoughtful dialogue that is a MAJOR reason for the very existence of BadWeB in the first place. Those who wish to whine and complain, please find the door out to another forum where your type of commentary is welcome. It ain't welcome here, on account of it is sucky. Don't be sucky. |

>Don't be sucky Can we make that the official Motto, like Google's "Don't be evil" ? |

Cool by me. I got that from someone/somewhere, cannot recall where/who though. Or maybe the more positive connotation of "be excellent to each other" would be more appropriate? Thanks for the positive turn. |

I think Bush should wire tap all you guys starting with Anonymous. Blake, you should really consider creating another forum for people who pretend to like Buells. You can call it: eriC Bule Rulez. Don't archive it just let it delete everyday but at least they can vent and you can move their posts there. Then everyone will be happy but me...I want a forum where we can discuss Why the Black Olives are in a can and the Green Olives are in a jar. Damn prejudice canneries. |

Why is this thread still active?!?!?! Summary: Some people like Anony, some don't, but it isn't going away. Medic gripes a lot and Blake doesn't like it. I think that about covers it. I'm going to go start a thread about motorcycles. |

"Why the Black Olives are in a can and the Green Olives are in a jar. Damn prejudice canneries." LOL!!! Thanks, I REALLY needed that. For me, managing BadWeB is kinda like playing golf; just when I think I hate it and it ain't worth it anymore, something great happens. Thanks for lifting my spirits and keeping me in the game. |

Me and my 7 yr old daughter love golf and often play 18 holes. We both agree that our favorite hole is the one with the windmill !! |

BLAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, let's agree to disagree. You're no fun when you play by the rules. (just a little sarcasm). If you knew how long it takes me to write a post you'd wonder why I would even bother. Doing term papers and reports in school damn near had me suicidal. Too many thoughts way faster than I could get them on paper let alone in an organized fashion. It made for some pretty dry reading. Keep in mind when I was in school there were no pc's. An electric typewriter would have been an uptick. Today it'd be easy. Plus, my typing skills aren't the best. There is some rather cryptic advice in what I wrote. Don't pick out what you find offensive. I may have been stating MY experience which may not coincide with yours. Look at the whole thing. I will say this.......... "be excellent to each other"........now that's sucky. Okay, as of now you are still on the "OK to borrow a Busa" list if you ever come this way again.} |

Clyde, COOL! And I only had typewriters in school too. But I can bang out the blathering pretty darn good on the old laptop. That's sometimes just as bad a thing as being typing impaired. Will be rooting for Pammy, Wes, Chuck and friends at the Dyno drags on Friday 3/10 (I think, not 100% sure of the exact date) in Daytona. Hope to see you there! |
