Jeremy, I think I've got it, and I was probably mistaken about the Conoco being a Shell station. In any event, it's the station just south or west of the Verde River, not the station on Shea, and not any station at the junction of McDowell and Country Club (87). 8:00 a.m., sidestands up at 8:30? I think I can help you out. When do you need them? I can probably just mail them to you. Or you can show up to the next trackday on the 12th. |

The track day is at Firebird south of Chandler. Even if you don't get on the track, it's a good time. I think entry is $10. It's $99 for a half day on the track and $150 for a full day. Come on out, I'd love to met you. |

How is everything structured? Do they set up races all day and you just have to get in when the race starts? Or is it a free for all, no racing just riding? |

how much did you pay and how many shots did you get? |

Since it's my first time out, I have to run with the beginners the first session. Hopefully they'll move me up after that run. I know it's silly, but I get really perturbed when a rider of lesser skill won't wave you by and you get stuck behind the "slow guy". Or, I'll end up being the slow guy and eat my words... |

i've had my new puter, i just haven't had any time to use it. hey charlie i wouldn't worry to much about the trackday. if your i reasonably fast road rider you should do just fine in the intermediate class.you'll be a little nervous waiting on the grid but once your waved out onto the track you just ride. after a couple of laps its almost as good as sex! since you and kelly both have 9's you guys should have some real fun out there, you never know, you might do really well with your higher rev limit. |

Yea, but they're pretty strict about dicing it up out there, and I HAVE to start with the beginners cuz it's my first trackday, track policy. I understand why, I just wish I could start with the intermediate guys, I won't brag and say I'm all that or anything, but I'm no beginner either. |

I wish I could make it this time... I did just get $700 worth of kangaroo leather though (hence the reason I haven't gotten new tires...) and I'll try to make the next one. |

Yea, but they're pretty strict about dicing it up out there You were misinformed. i distinctly recall getting passed by Ted with no less than a 1/4 inch. He was testing me! Beginner is a good oppurtunity to dice it up in the staights, because once you hit the corners its time to back it off. There is a fine line between dicing it up and being down right rude. If they see you can hang with the big boys you will see what I mean. I think its alot more fun when you get to dice it up in the upper group's you learn more. Like you said, Ted was prolly testing you, but he's also the one who warns against aggressive riding at the track. I've been to quite a few and have heard the warnings, this is just my first time riding. My cell phone is currently unobtainom, call us on Eliz's cell at 928- 210-9092 if you'd like to meet up for dinner or other such gatherings... I head home Monday afternoon. Would like to see some of the gang while up there...I know a stop at Hooters is on the schedule! |

I just got my Firebolt form Chandler H-D yesterday. I've talked to Baby Huey about the track day and I'll try to show up. But as a spectator. Only have 85 miles so far. I'm in the central Phx area, so if there are any rides coming up I'd like to go. Or if anyone just wants to go ride I have every weekend and every other Friday off. |

I need a shorter seat for my XB9SX. I can't flat foot on my bike because I'm too short. Does anyone know where I can get a short seat for less than $100? Also, where can I get frame sliders for my bike? I'm starting to get into stunts and if I bail out, I'd really rather avoid a dented frame. Please bear with me, I'm new to the whole crotch rocket thing and customization is a foreign concept. Thanks |
