Oh, I didn't understand exactly what you were talking about. Can you post a pic? I think I could use all of it, I wonder though if it will fit on an '06. I'm pretty sure the tail assembly will fit(cheese grater part). -RAS | ||

Rasmonis- possibly....I have sent out Grater Eliminators that were going to be powder coated and I had to fill in some imperfections with a TIG rod and very low heat. The piece is made out of cast aluminum so there are air pockets here and there that need filled sometimes. You can't use any spot putty on a piece that is going to powdered so I use TIG rods. I was thinking of maybe filling in the crack from behind where it wouldn't be seen and see how it turns out. Worth a try. If I could only find a whole one!! Let me know what you want to do. Odie, It looks like I'll end up having to purchase a new tail assembly, they cost $114. Give me a few weeks to get the new piece then we can work out something out. I'm not sure that repairing the crack will work as well as what you want to do with it. I like the short tails, but they don't do much for keeping mud off your back. -RAS | ||
