Can anybody help me with some information? I know there have been FX wins (at least one) by a Buell, but I can't remember the details. Can anyone help me with this? I'm trying to make a point to a group of 'racing enthusiasts' that claim Buell has never won a race and never will, and my argument is that 'we've' won in the past an will do it again. Thanks. |

No wins in AMA FX, but there were plenty of wins in the now defunct AMA Pro Thunder class. |

Like J. Scott said - No wins in AMA FX, the highest score was 4th at VIR in 2004 by Mike Ciccotto. But you can look up all of the results for the past 3 years for yourself at http://www.amasuperbike.com Or go back through the archives of superbikeplant.com and roadracingworld.com for older AMA Pro Thunder events. |

Damn.. I could have sworn I'd read somewhere that Buell had taken one at Loudoun or someplace like it.. |

The Loudon win was with Formula USA in the sportbike class (against 600cc IL4's) with Eric Wood riding it. |

Blublak: Don’t waste your time unless you are just having fun arguing with the others on that board. They will believe what they want and the U.S. cycle rags will reinforce all there misconceptions. Nothing you say will ever change their point of view. One person will state something that is entirely untrue and 50 others will swear to it. They hate Buell. They will hate them when they lose, they will hate them even more when they win. Their minds are already made up and pointing to the facts doesn’t change that. |

You've got a lot of balls Buellerx. You know nothing of the people of SacBORG to say nothing of BadWeb. I think an apology is in order, because you really don't know what you are talking about. Jim |

One person will state something that is entirely untrue and 50 others will swear to it. They hate Buell. That is an incorrect (and quite insulting) statement. I agree with Jim, an apology would be appropriate. Henrik |

Apology for what? Who did I insult? I don’t know what board he was speaking of. I was talking in "General Terms" and no I wont apologize to Jim. My comments were not directed at him or anyone else specifically. Yes I do have balls. |

So when you say in "General Terms" you are talking about all other discussion boards? You are saying people are liars, and that they hate Buell. You said they have closed minds and facts don't change that. Further you state that motorcyle magazine are in on the conspiracy. In "General Terms" does that apply to everyone who doesn't agree with you? The discussion was about racing, and the facts of who won which races. You can't argue with the facts of who won, regardless of who you wanted to win. (Message edited by jima4media on February 09, 2006) |

OK that may not apply to everyone. I still wasnt talking to/about you Jim. And I dont want to burst your bubble but there are people on the internet that are liars and there are people who hate Buells, sometimes they are the same people. I have been in discussions with them numerous times. I dont see where I need to apologize to you for making a reference to people hating Buells. If my above statement doesnt apply to you then ignore it. |

Plenty of folks all over the internet bashing Buell for one reason or another. I'd rather spend my free time on more positive persuits. Rise above it Buellerx. Please edit your name entry in your user profile to reflect your real name, first name at least. |
