Got three words for ye: touch up paint Got five more for ye: get what you pay for Let this be a lesson to ye; never send a service writer to do a mech-a-necks job. |

Bout that chip, dont they scotch brite, or sand blast those parts before they coat them? If not, I could've blasted them up at work for you, maybe I'm wrong, but I dont think I did very much to cause that. I think rocks & maybe even a good hard bug will do more damage then I did. If there is any paint, oil, grease, polish or clear coat left on your parts that powder coat stuff wont stick for very long/or very well either.(sorry all the same) Just a thought. |

It's been warmer than to rats humping in a wool sock these last two weeks. You guys have your bikes back together yet? This has been the ridingest January in the history of Januaries. |

That looks great Larry. Do you think you are done coloring for a while or will you do the frame and swing arm too? |

February looks like it might shape up to be a solid winter month. January was just awesome. Today was nice in the morning, but my berries froze a little on the way home. In the last month there has only been one other bike in the lot at work besides mine. That was only for one day. I know you guys were down for mx, but what do people do around here, send their bikes south for the winter? |

Bike looks great Larry. The pics are pretty good, but they don't quite do it justice because you didn't post a before pic with it. What are you up to this weekend Larry? It's supposed to be cold and Cristy is going out of town, so if you're not busy I'd like to get started on my project. I figure I should be able to get everything apart and the front end painted in an afternoon, and then I'll just need those case covers from Sam and the wheels powdercoated. I think my bike should only sit in your garage taken apart for about the same amount of time as yours did. What's your weekend look like? |

Well my bike is too dirty for pics, so the next nice day I'll clean it up and take some pics. James, Do not take you wheels to the place we did, they are assholes. Check out www.kccoatings.com, I found them after we had ours done. It is a one man shop, he does all the work for the local hot rodders. He has great prices also and does ceramic coating for a great price. |

Thanks Tim. I called over there this morning and he is working on a quote for me. He said that he can leave the outside lip of my wheel alone after blasting so I can polish it, but I think he is considerably more expensive. He said that for blasting and powdercoating I would be looking at around $200. Then I would have to pay for pulling and pressing in my bearings, removal and remounting of my tires plus balancing. It could end up quite the expensive little task. I asked him about jet coating my header, and I'm thinking that I might have him do that and have the other guys do my wheels. How much was it to get your wheels done for everything Tim? |

James the exhaust you can be looking at $210.00 for the chrome like ceramic finish. The wheels around $85 to $100.00 to blast and $55.00 each to coat with a semi black. George |

Hey Guys, Just got back from the Easyrider's V-Twin Expo out in Cincinnati, Ohio over the weekend and thought I would post up a few pics of some new Buell bikes Redneck rolled out. One was a completed XB Bobber (the same frame I'm building on right now) and then their new dropseat Mutant as well. Take a look and let me know what you think. Later, Justin

Those are sweet choppers. I think I like the silver and black one better. It is cool that they got an XB chopper together, but I just like the lines of the other one. |
