It must depend on the area you race in because I saw some some numbers twice, but different names and different regions. |

Where's yours Rocco? Did you put in yet or just not in time to pop up yet? Then again, maybe I just couldn't find it. (Message edited by uwgriz on January 15, 2006) |

yes the same number can be assigned as amateur and expert, in each region. when you cross over into another region to race and someone local to that region has the number already, then you add an "X" to the end of your number to designate that you're the visiting version of that same number |

I just sent it in today. Hopefully I'll know within the next few weeks. I guess I need to get a few sets of numbers. Rules state if you have a pit bike, you're supposed to put your race numbers on it. I guess so they know who to b!tch at if someone is screwing on it! How's the trip Jason!? Looking forward to seeing the S-1 when you have time. |

"if someone is screwing on it!" Screwing around on it is one thing, but screwing on it is apparently where they draw the line. Trip's going pretty well, I'm on leg #3 now so I'll be home in about a week. After that, I finish up the S1 so I can get back to my house. Once I have it, I'll give you a call. It's not the prettiest bike out there, but it's got what I need. |

Oh yeah, don't forget the numbers for your helmet. (That's probably more of a reminder for myself than anything.) |

Yes Yes! Screwing on it or around on it would be equally frowned upon. Tom , I believe, used numbers on his helmet that are used on boats. Looks good too. |

Yes, I did. I ordered them from Dennis Kirk. Very fast delivery and not very expensive. They came with (4) sets of everything. I believe they were watercraft/jetski reg. #'s |

I just finished prepping my race bike for next weekend. Maybe I'll see some of you guys at Homestead for the opener.

I'm still waiting for my crap from CCS. Nice looking bike man. I'm running a Ducati 750 SS. Funny, that is the EXACT number I put down as my first choice!! Good luck this year! |

I got my CCS mailer last week. I think they were mailing out another batch soon. Good luck this season. Those Ducs and Buells sound awesome coming down the front straight. (Message edited by mike748 on February 04, 2006) |
