Bart: As of right now we schedule the rides the first Sat. of every month. Most of us have variable work schedules so its hard to tell what rides will be able to make. We plan on running the 191 late April early May, but I'm also coordinating with another site so there is always details that change. As far as BRAG coming out there is already something in the works for late March early April  . I appreciate the update on your ride schedules. We will schedule rides in advance once the chapter is handed over and we can have our own meetings. Should happen within the next month or so.... J | ||

Looks like only a few of us are going to the track on Sunday. That's ok, we'll be freezing our butts off anyway. Looks like we'll be doing a different track. It should be fun! I'd like to send a big thanks to Jeremy and Andrew for helping me put together my new Crossraods Bars on my CityX. It would have taken me all weekend to do it myself and it would not have turned out near as good. What a huge difference they make. I can't wait to hit the track with them... umm ok so hopefully the bars don't hit the track! | ||

Well, I had originally cut my stock pipe. I added the race ECM and my own airbox elim. I was really surprised at how much noise comes from the airbox now. It PULLS and it GROWLS!!! | ||

We had a great time at the track yesterday Andrew,Ed and myself ran intermediate for part of the day then Ted Rich pulled me aside and said it would be a good idea for me to move up to expert, soon after that Andrew was also moved up. Kelly started out in super street and ended up in intermediate he got his knee down also. Good job and great riding Kelly! It was really fun when we were all in intermediate seeing our Buells and Ed's EX 500 chewin up 600's and 1000's like they were candy. Expert proved to be a challenge but I will say this, neither Andrew or myself were any where near the back we were slicing and dicing with some really good riders/racers. Ed stayed for the morning session it was fun riding with you Ed! Learned a lot about the bikes capabilities and gained a ton of knowledge from great riders on and off the track. Whatever! Atleast I was there.  I would have smoked you off of that corner every lap. If you dont try different lines you never know what is fast or slow. Not many bikes were passing me or Andrew on that corner even when we ran it wide. It all depended on how much speed was being carried through there. Ted reccommended a different line that proved to be alot better. In the intermidiate class nobody was capatailizing on me running wide. Advanced was a different story. Nice pics J! What a perfect way to spend a day. And 3 Buellers to boot!  I'll try and post a couple pics as well if I can. Old school film sucks... but it's free and I keep spending all my $ on my bike. Go figure. I learned tons, especially that my Buell can do a whole lot more than I am capable of yet. But I'm catching up quick! And the crossroads bars that I(we) put on were a HUGE improvement on my riding position. I even got a knee down finally! Hey there stranger!!!! Whats going on? You need to get your a55 up here for some good riding.  . I dont think I want the bodywork. Just the lower catch pan. Our monthly ride has come up quickly, so I'm just going to throw this one out there. I'm thinking ride up to Strawberry/Pine via sr87 aka beeline hwy Sat 2/4/06 8am at the south side of 87 and shea blvd there is a Shell gas station. On the opposite side of the road from the casino. Jeremy, there may be some confusion about which Shell gas station you mean. There is one at an intersection on 87 just south of the Verde River, on the east side of 87; there is also a Shell (I think formerly a Texaco) on the south side of Shea, just west of 87. By your reference to the "opposite side of the road from the casino" I presume you mean the station south of the river. Tim | ||

Just to clarify, the meet is McDowell and Country Club (87). That's a T-junction, is it not? |
