BUELLers: What is already in the works(ie: planed ???) ??? "I" was thinking of a "GATHERING" in a BIG PARKING LOT in a TIME FRAME(2 hours) that wouid not interfear with any of the RACES and you could have your BUELL with you where a lot of BUELLshitte could happen ... This will be a HARDLEY-HARLEY/BUELL "UNauthorized" gathering !!! Have heard of a BBQ or BBQ's but do not know the details, ie: when(dates and times), where (address with zip for Map Quest to find) and put on by whom ??? Do not know if MOTHER Harley-Davidson is going to allow BMC/BRAG to do anything for it BUELL RIDERS ??? INPUT "PLEASE" !!! In BUELLing LaFayette |

McWilliams for England and Picotte for Canada seemingly are writ in stone. Should add a little of the old international flavor to the 200. |

Okay......soundcheck. This thing is getting big...no..... it's getting HUGE. I got 107 e-mails on Thursday. Folks, who had not previously planned on going to Daytona, are scrambling to make arrangements. I heard from 3 "groups" and am also thrilled that Sebastian, from Germany, will be joining us. I've just spoken to Blake and assigned him some duties. He's going to start checking to see when the track opens and what we can do to get all the BADWEB group together at the track. This may involve an early get together with a mass trip to the ticket window or whatever it takes. Dave Gess and I are "locked on" for Saturday night and I'm starting to troll the factory for wayward Elves to drag along. Some of the stories we'll be telling demand that some of these folks be present to defend themselves. I'm thinking it'd be a good idea for everyone coming to Nick's on Saturday night to bring a $1.00 Hallmark "THANK YOU" card to give to his neighbors....my bet is they have no idea what they are in for. There are some other pieces of the puzzle that will take some developing over the next week and some of you may be assigned "Elf Duties". One thing that would be most excellent to start on now is for folks to start talking this entire Buell Race up at your local Harley-Davidson dealers. This years event will hail, ala the days of Cal Rayborn, the serious return of some darned exciting V-Twin Air Cooled "Thunder" racing at the Daytona Speedway. My bet is that if the Harley-Davidson owners get wind of this they'' darn sure want to be there to witness the return of American Motorcycles to one of the world's classic motorcycle events. More to follow and I'll see if we can't get one of the moderators, as meet times and places get nailed down, to include them in the header of this thread. Looking forward to seeing HUNDREDS of you at Daytona. . . this'll be a great chance to meet and celebrate together and. . . heck, I may even finish a story! Court |

This just gets better all the time! So far plans are: Buellistic is planning a gathering on Friday morning. Details to be announced BBQ on Friday evening (starting around 4ish)...well we think that one might go all day/night as people come in and out. The "BIG" BBQ on Saturday night following the race. Right now the times are still up for debate as we wait on the race schedule. We have a BIG charcoal grill, we have had a new gas grill donated also. (for those that need that instant gratification) Further on down the checklist we have made peace with all the neighbors with the exception of one who is an MMI student... the guy is never home! We have managed to round up all the plates, cups, plastic ware, etc. For those that need to map quest it: 1009 Alladin Drive Deltona, Florida 32728 email: vegas_bueller@yahoo.com Cell Phone: 702-300-3248 Bottom line: There will be more Buell Sheite to do during this weekend than you can imagine!! I'll keep the updates coming as I we get closer! Nick (Message edited by vegasbueller on January 29, 2006) |

As far as buidling the hype... here is the way I see it... the RR isn't just Erik's bike. This thing is OUR bike! I think anyone who has the fire and the passion of a true and blue Buell owner feels that we all own a stake in this bike. While "we" may not win the 200, I am sure that we will make some people stand up and take notice. Can we win it? Possibly! How many races have been one by a first out vehicle in any venue? (I am not sure. I may Google that later) At any rate, I am going to hit every backroad chopper shop that I can find and let the guys know that "We" are bringing a new toy out to play. I just wish today were March 11th! Nick |

Isn't it just typical eh? My wife books a family vacation in Florida for April. And we just happen to miss the most significant thing to happen to Buellers in years by a couple of weeks. Ho-hum. Have a great time |

One more thing off of the list... Invited the Volusia County (read Daytona area) motor cops to the weekend cookouts and the races. They are going to be super busy during the weekend but we may see some drop by. They did say that if you were in the area of the Iron Horse and Boot Hill to drop in and say hello. Their CO is Sgt Joey Bryant. |

So I was looking at the seating for the 200, and last year I got a Fan Pack that let me go just about anywhere in the infield. I don't see that as an option this year. Is this true? Anyone know? |

Ooops, my bad. I called and they have a two day super ticket for the 10th and 11th, including the Supercross and the 200, add in a Trackside upgrade, and the Fan Zone for a total of 95.00. |
