A lot of jap bikes have a way of hanging the helmet off the side of the rear pilon by a hook. Has anyone done anything like this? |

Best solution for some: Look up in Search, "helmet holder" http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/82048.html |

Try hanging it off the right passenger peg. |

Ztechnics makes a double helmet lock/holder that goes under the license plate. |

I rednecked a lockable helmet holder. very easy and it works. I'll try to explain and I'll post pix if I remember. 1. remove pass seat. 2. using a hose clamp attache a climbing ring, like the mountain climbers use to the sub frame under the seat. 3. hook strap loops through climbing ring and replace seat and lock. I hope I explained well enough. |

Great idea! Done properly it would be a real bear to cut te helmet off the bike. Off to the hardware store time to tinker! |

I forgot to say, this does not have to be a real climbing rope ring... you can use the cheap key chain type sold everywhere. |
