Does anyone have any experience with this kit that Hal's offers? I have considered for quite some time converting my Lightning body parts for Firebolt ones, but would prefer a full body. I am curious as to what it is made out of and if the factory kickstand will still work. I was looking at the Carbon Kevlar bodies on the web, but they are very expensive.

The top pic is my bike. before paint.

The belly pan must be trimmed to allow the use of the kickstand and exhaust of your prefference.

The fiberglass is very light and flexible, however that means spiderwebbing of the paint is a valid concern if not prepped
and painted properly,and even then.......

We have recently received some of the sebimoto fairings (availible through racingmotorcycles.com). these are even lighter
than the sharkskinz pieces in direct comparison. the finish fro the factory is very good (for this kind of product).
of special note is the fact the sebimoto bodywork is re-inforced at all the mount points with carbon-kevlar cloth. We'll see how it
holds up when the race season begins.

And yes, the baton-rouge bike is /was pretty. And it is Sebimoto plastic. The belly pan mounts lower then the sharkskinz does.

I don't have an XB, but talking with the folks at Hal's Performance Shop a few years ago I was told they strip the bike down to bare frame, have the slider welded on, do something to the inside of the tank (if I remember right), then reassemble the bike. Any price I had at the time is out of date now.

The fairing looks great... I'd love to have a full-bodied bike down the road, but it will still be a street bike. I see on their website the XB9R Street Body kit is $895 - does that include the tail section? I would want to keep my tail section with the passenger seat.
