For every 12 pounds that you can reduse in weight you will get one HP that will not show
up on a DYNO !!!

If you lighten any thing that spinds, it will spin up faster !!!

Clarification: In a drag race type hard acceleration scenario, for every 12 pounds of weight shed will net the same relative improvement to performance as one additional HP.

Handling should also improve.

However, top/high speed performance will remain unchanged as it is largely ungoverned by mass of the bike. You just need enough weight to achieve good traction. At Bonneville, as speeds climb towards 200 mph, I understand that this become very important. : )

But to answer the question... anyone?

The rotating mass on the engine output shaft does more than help transfer power, it may also figure into flywheel inertia and help prevent development of problematic harmonics (vibrations). The increased torque spec on the output shaft sprocket nut may be related to that issue.

Light is one thing, "BUT" what it is made of must be hard enough to last(ie: have a VERY LIGHT counter shaft sprocket which wears very
fast(BUT IT SURE IS "LIGHT") ...

Get it and try it as it is a good PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT !!!

PLEASE let me know where you can get this from ???
