Carey: That must be the man juice talking. Or your still stoned from all the gas fumes you inhaled when your welds failed. I'll be sure too take lots of pics of your dismal awakening when your Ninja falls into the depths of break-down. Chuck Norris rules!!!!! Charlie: I'll see you there what date? Which event? I'm going riding in the morning. See ya! J |

It's the March 19 Sunday trackday, Firbird West. I'm going to call Ted Rich and see if I can pay the difference to split the full day into two half days. I've heard that a full day is a lot of riding. Especially if you've never done one before. Any suggestions? My tentative plan is to do the afternoon session that Sunday. I'll save the second half day for when they open up the Main track... |

Hey Charlieboy, I think that's a good idea about doing a half day for the first time there. I did a half day (afternoon) in Dec, and I was wore out at the end of the day. I'm sure I'll be there in March. And Jan too. Hopefully I'll have my lower bars all set up by then. Until then, have fun riding! |

The ride went nicely today just me and another rider from another site. Perfect weather, nice twisties and good company. Wow looks like I hit a nerve!!!! Carey:No nerve damaged here just returning the 5hit talking! I would'nt bring that tow strap you may put too much weight on that frame and those welds will be rendered useless careful what you pack. I would'nt want you to have to roundhouse your way out of the canyon Charlie: Andrew and I did a full day our first time out and still wanted more. I would suggest against the main track as the East and West are more Buell friendly (more turns)(shorter straights)= a rice burning massacre Here are some pics from today. This will be our ride coming up on January 7th. A Salt River Canyon loop. Meet up at Signal Butte & Southern @ the Mobil on the north side of freeway exit 8am J |

You're right about the main track J, I was thinking about renting one of their go fast bikes. I've never ridden one and what better place to try it out than the track? Again, hope to see everyone in March! YAY! |

Drove by Firebird west track to day and snapped a few pics, they refinished the whole track and they changed the left turn coming off the straight away to more a higher speed sweeper, And changed the exit also so if your going to fast your going landscaping!!! And they changed the infield too but could not really see it but here's a few other pics,

Should be a interesting few trackdays, New slick surface and more turns. Beginner and super street is going to be a crash fest. I think I'll run Intermediate for the sake of my leathers and steed J |

J, by the time you guys get to run trackdays, the cars will have already had several meets so there will be plenty of rubber down. |

Charlie: The last trackday I attended I bedazzled my pants with some torque induced power slides out of turn 2 to the straight-away. Mikel: I just hope they use the same lines as we two wheelers do. |

Great ride yesterday! Fantastic turn out of 16 riders and a nice assortment of bikes, no incidents great weather made for some great riding. I didnt get too many pics this time as I was busy tearing up the canyon with some excellent riders, A T.E.A.M AZ instructor named Dean and a recently CCS licensed rider named Chris(Crispy) of PSC, and of course the rest of us canyon carvers with a few new faces Stay tuned for next month's ride. Enjoy the pics!

Looks like I missed a great ride. My uly is down for awhile as my brother in law suffered a crash with it on the way back from bartlett lake a week of so ago. |

It was a great ride. What a great day of carving the canyon. And plenty of BSing between friends. I have a few pics I'll load up tomorrow after I get my old school film developed. Safe riding everyone! K |

Anybody up for a ride this weekend? Oh yea Ted Rich from Az Trackday e-mailed with this: I was notified by Firebird today that the Jan 22 trackday will be on the Bondurant Track because the double booked the West track. We have never run this course because it is cost prohibitive so we are excited to be able to run it. Nothing will change with the event, all gate times will be the same and you will enter the same gate (you will just continue south past the West track).} I checked out the track on the Bondurant site and it looks nice less straights then the east or west track. NICE http://www.bondurant.com/pages/tracks.html Later J |

Jeremy, We've scheduled the Mountain Madness (Hwy191)ride for Labor day weekend. Will that work for you guys? We have 38 rides planned for '06. Four of them are Long ones. (3 days or more) We are also trying to get a Four corners ride organized, the more groups involved, the better the chance of getting BRAG down here to support us. We already have two Colorado groups involved. Ping me when you get a chance, let me know what your groups ride schedule will be for 2006. |

Hey guys. Any chance of uniting the two AZ threads here? Just asking. Seems like most post on both. United we stand and all that? Sorry for any confusion the rework on the Storm Fronts main page might have caused. Y'all please rock on! |
