Happy new year to one and all! Got rid of the ST1100 which few of you have seen and now am the proud owner of a 96 Triumph Tiger which I love. The bike used to belong to Marcus whose anal bike tendencies have yielded a truely beautifuly detailed bike. Y'all met Marcus at Border Raid. He now owns my ST1100 and claims I won't recognize it after he is done with it. He also plans to get a Triumph sporty bike in the near future. Bob, I was wondering if I could hire you to build me a paddock stand for the Tiger? Please let me know. Take care everyone.... Paul Lusk |

Happy New Year Everyone. Have really missed you all and look forward to seeing you in the Spring. Galen - I too am saddened by the news of your recent loss. Be cool and remember, he's playing in the big house now. Loni - No appologies needed. You and Chris do so much for all of us, and it's appreciated. This year just didn't work out for the Seattle IMS. Let's try for the Daytona Party. Bob - I'll check out the SPLASH 2006 forum and post opinions if I have any. How about a SPLASH 2006 DVD feature this year? All the best to you and your families FunJimmy |

New law for you all - http://www.leg.state.or.us/05orlaws/sess0400.dir/0491ses.pdf In a nutshell - 100MPH and over is a $1000 fine and loss of license for 30 to 90 days. 30 over the posted limit will get you loss of license for up to 30 days, if you have a prior speeding conviction in the preceding 12 months. Effective January 1, 2006 |

Hey All, Am in the process of implementing some enhancements, one of which includes moving the most active of the long-lived Storm Fronts baords to the top of the list. Would also like to include a very short description of your group or whatever statement/creed/whatever you would like to put in small text underneath your board's topic title on the main "Storm Fronts" page. I can also retitle the board for you. Seems like y'all do a lot more than talk about rides here, so if you'd like to come up with a name/title for your board, I'll happily rename the topic accordingly. Hey Roc! Read Kevin Cameron's column in a recent Cycle World (December or January) and thought of you with the Turbo bike. He was talking about how supercharged engines need higher voltage ignitions to overcome the added resistance due to higher density intake charge, especially at higher RPMs. Hey Deb! Hey Bob! See you at Daytona? |

OK Blake, since no one has chimed in yet check this out. At one of our get togethers a few years back most of the Tacoma, Auburn, Seattle and Portland crowd was trying to figure a way to use the name or acronym: NW F.O.G.G. Fast Old Guys and Gals I'm sure someone else will be here shortly... |

Hey Blake, No Daytona for Deb and I as she is racing in the North West Mini Road Race series. The NW FOGG is our loose handle and is fitting for this group. I personally would opt to keep the Northwest title the same as we direct newbies to this section and would be easier to find. Our group in the Northwest has been tight for years and we often see each other. Our Canadian friends are among the finest people I know, (fer Canadiacs) It's rare that a group so large has lasted the test of time and we are truly blessed. Thanks for the ease of the Board. Oh, will we see you at Laguna? Bob |

I am planning on it. Will be pulling the trigger on airline tickets real soon. May try to merge the event with a West coast vacation. Will be rooting for Deb! Please clarify on the group title; change it to "NW FOGG (WA, OR, ID, BC)"? And make the subtitle "Our Canadian friends are among the finest people we know, (fer Canadiacs)"? If you want to scare away the timid you could make the subtitle "An Online Haunt of SportyEric". |

PS: The "Dink" looks like a real heck raiser. Am keeping an eye out for a B.C. pupppy ourselves. Would y'all rather have a thread-based format here, meaning like the Quick Board where you create new subtopics instead of have a single serial thread? |

Hey, Blake. Nice to have you come visiting our little corner. I don't know if we need a thread breakdown, do we? We usually just run one subject til it dies then move on to something else. You should leave Texas a week earlier, rent a bike and do SPLASH. Sorry I haven't a second runner to offer. |
