Hey. I'm having problems starting my 98 S1W. When I hit the ignition switch all I hear is a "clicking" noise. The crank doesn't turn at all. I replaced the battery and voltage regulator and I'm still having this problem. Any ideas? |

Go through your fusebox and clean the contacts. make sure the big ground wire is in good shape and is fastened to the engine case tightly. I don't know if your fusebox has them but mine has two black relays. One of them controls my starter solenoid. My X1 was going clikkkkk and my fusebox contacts were fuzzy. Cleaning them fixed my problem. |

Check the big ground strap under the rear tail/swing arm area. Remove, clean, & retighten. DAve |
