I live in Appleton, and it wasn't always like that. When I first became interested in Buell, when the Firebolt was introduced, it was just like all the dealers you guys are talking about. They had a couple of bikes tucked away in a corner and not much else. And they could have cared less about selling them. The salesman had very little knowledge of the product.
Then along comes Daves. He truly has a passion for the brand that could probably rival the man himself, Erik Buell. Harley-Davidson/Buell of Appleton owes Dave a debt of gratitude for revitalizing their Buell sales and service department. I have witnessed the transformation first hand and am extremely impressed. Dave is one of the reasons I decided to take the plunge and join in the madness. |

Went into a Harley dealer outside Concord NH on Saturday just to look around. Asked if they had any Buells. The nice young sales girl smiled and said "We have sportsters". I replied that the Buell was a better idea sportster. She gave me the funnest look. The older guy there quietly said to find Buells you have to go south or north to another dealer. Oh well.

That attitude just sucks in my opinion. Arn't you glad that some dealers just put the blinders on and keep their respective shoulders so high that they think that they are better than the Buell Brand ever will be... KOODOS TO YOU DAVE! Move to Michigan and start a dealer here... WE NEED IT!..
Heck Buell should hire you directly to be their Dealer Liazon (spelling sucks)... in charge of Buell relations for all dealers.. use Appleton as the example.. lol |
