Hi again, back in Yuma AZ. CJ I was on a puter in a motel lobby so I was limited to 5 minutes at a time! Watched the holiday bowl, was right in front of our motel. And the weinerdog nationals-LOL! The Weinerschnitzel? hotdog co sponsers them! LOL!! Tried to get a San Diego Buell t shirt, they don't have any....just the Buell only shirts, so didn't stop. Fiery- just stay away from the football team place! |

Hey Everyone, Thank you very much for your congrats!! I'm just looking forward to feeling a little bit healthier soon. Jason and I were going to go out for a lovely dinner last night, but a nasty trip to the bathroom ruled that out... Oh well...This child should be a rather interesting combination of personalities..... Well, I hope everyone has a great new year!! Hopefully we can all get together soon Happy New Year!!! |

Hey Tom. Check out the videos I posted on the Quick board. Road America is now on my list for races, by the way. How's the bike coming along? I just did a bunch to mine. Just need to finish the paint and it's pretty much ready. |

Tom, I still have the D&D sitting on the shelf if you want it. It sounds like Dyna's going to pick one of them up so whichever of you needs it first gets the one on the shelf and the other guy gets the the one under the S3 (I'm looking for something a little more tolerable for commuting plus now I can get my noise fix from the S1). Since I'm already posting over here I'll toss in my 2 cents on your post over in the racing section - my vote as to adding power without breaking the bank - tune the carb like it was on Heather's M2 (ran great with awesome throttle response), add the race ignition, put on a new slip-on can and take the money you're not putting into the header and ham can and swap your cams. More gains to be had there than with the race kit. If you don't want to swap cams, I still wouldn't spend the money on the race exhaust as the stock M2 cams don't really take advantage of the larger header. I'm not just saying that as a guy looking to sell a slip-on cause I've already got one sold and if the other one doesn't sell, I really don't care (I'll just commute using Heather's bike - can't just leave it sit, that would be wrong...). Other than that I've got some catching up to do - Rocco and Steve - I haven't touched the tranny yet but I'm hoping to get to it soon. It's lost some priority it the bike pecking order with the addition of the S1 that will pull double duty road and drag racing and Heather's XB just asking to be ridden. Rocco - no S1 yet, I'm finishing up the assembly tomorrow night and then bringing it home. After that comes some setup work on the suspension. Dana - I'd be happy to help with the Crossroads / headlight install but I'm heading out to Europe for a couple of weeks. If you can hold off until I'm back (21st), I think we can avoid adding the "Al" notch we had to put in Rocco's bike (sorry Rocco). Everyone - Thanks for the congrats. We're pretty excited. Now we just have to get Heather past the constant nausea thing and hopefully we'll be good to go. |

What's wrong with the Al notch!? Why is my bike always the "experimental" one!? Jason, let me know when I can stop by and see the bike. I did some major/minor changes on mine. Not much left to do. Just waiting for the weather to change....in about 5 months. |
