I guarantee the event will be a great time and well worth attending. Just like last year. Kevin, Do I understand correctly that you are NOT interested in seeing a presentation and Q&A session by Erik Buell or one of the other Buell factory folks? Is that view really shared by the majority? I wouldn't characterize our dinner get-together as a "meeting or official event." I promise that there will be no Roberts Rules of Order, no reading of minutes, not voting nor making of motions, no official proclamations, no planning or scheduling of future meetings, no organization at all other than to ensure that everyone can hear and see a short and very interesting presentation by one/some of the folks who help design and build the motorcycles we dig. Sound good? Would anyone be willing to provide a mic and amp? Would someone be willing to donate some stick-on name tags? I'll be bringing all the leftover BadWeB calendars to give to anyone who wants one. They go through February, so will still be useful for a whole month. I think that some of the photos are real keepers and even worth framing. This is gonna be great! Did someone say "beer"? Dago, I'll be happy to blather on about life and project management with you in person over a beer. I have some stories you won't believe. Remind me to tell you about the Brazilian offshore welder. Micah sounds like he might have some interesting commentary to ad too. If you are planning to make the reservations, would you please also see to it that we can set up a mic and amp and have everyone co-located in the same room, please? I think a head count is in order. I will say that Up in Smoke is a great choice. Fairly close to Grapevine and easy to get to, 114 then 170 West to 377 South. It’s biker friendly, I have watched several races on their TV’s while drinking beer but have never eaten their food, and so I’m looking forward to it.
