I can hardly believe this!  WERA!? These guys around here are far from Buell friendly. Shred talked to "Mr. WERA" after the season ended about Buell being in WERA, and he was less than responsive, saying Buell wouldn't be competitive in any of their classes. I wonder what changed. It's going to be great seeing the Buells out and about at WERA races. They'll definitely get all our support. | ||

Tony is a Tech Inspector for WERA and he was friendly about the idea of having a Buell on the track and also liked some of the concepts and ideas of Buell. He has done a demo ride and thought it was pretty cool. He helped out with the Mock-up Race when I was getting my Racing license which I got 3rd place out of 15 riders. 1st place was a WERA expert that was doing a refresher coarse that had be out of racing for a season. I held 2nd for 7 laps and then got pasted in the last straight away by Neale Bayly the writer,photographer that just got back from over seas doing a write up on Rossi's YZR-M1. He also liked the ideas of the XB and gave me a pat on the back for leading 2nd place for 7 out of the 8 laps. Then he said 2nd place is the 1st looser and 3rd place is 2nd to the 1st looser. ..
