just wondering who has done this... looking at polishing frame and swingarm. Should i clear coat everything after? |

oh, and as far as the clear coating, that one i'm not sure on. i have thought about doing that, but dont remember ever hearing of anyone trying it yet???? |

clear coating polished metal can be tricky. It can be hard to get the clear to stick to the hard metal, and even then a lot of clears will yellow because the UV does not get absorbed by the paint. Kind of like what you see on some silver paint jobs. Clear coating polished metal should be done by a pro for best results. |

No need to clear coat. The bike is really pretty easy to keep looking good after the initial polish job. I know a lot of people here will say that you have to spend a lot of time cleaning to keep it looking good. That just isn't true. Five minutes with a rag and some mothers metal polish is all it takes. |
