Well Dave, the choice for now is a S1W or a 916. A car would be easy too. Probably a Saab, would you believe. Sorry I just dealt the Maserati and the TVR's not that practical. Rocket |

PMS cure (parked motorcycle syndrome): Jose Cuervo Christmas Cookies: 1 cup of water 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup of sugar 1 tsp salt 1 cup of brown sugar 1 tsp lemon juice 4 large eggs 1 cup nuts 2 cups of dried fruit 1 bottle Jose Cuervo Tequila Sample the Cuervo to check quality. Take a large bowl, check the Cuervo again, to be sure it is of the highest quality, pour one level cup and drink. Turn on the electric mixer...Beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy bowl. Add one teaspoon of sugar.. Beat again. At this point it's best to make sure the Cuervo is still OK, try another cup . just in case. Turn off the mixerer thingy. Break 2 leggs and add to the bowl and chuck in the cup of dried fruit, Pick the frigging fruit off floor... Mix on the turner. If the fried druit gets stuck in the beaterers just pry lloose with a drewscriver. Sample the Cuervo to check for tonsisticity. Next, sift two cups of salt, or something. Who giveshz a sheet. Check the Jose Cuervo. Now shift the lemon juice and strain your nuts. Add table. Add a spoon of sugar, or somefink. Whatever you can find. Greash the oven. Turn the cake tin 360 degrees and try not to fall over Don't forget to beat off the turner. Finally, throw the bowl out, finish the Jose Juervo and make sure to put the stove in the dishwasher. "Police brutality or ???..." I say not. Criminals have to surrender some expectations of fair treatment and even-handed civility when they the same things from others. And the rules and tolerance will vary from one nation to another. When I was in Spain in the 70's the Guardia would have taken him out with their carbines or submachine guns as soon as he started moving away from the scene of the crime. The Spanish have mellowed out some over thee years. Jack |

"Police brutality or ???..." No. Not brutality.....in my book. Let me see... robbery, kidnapping, claiming he had a handgrenade, and was getting away..... Here, I think a police sniper would have cleaned him up as soon as he was outside of blast range of innocents. |

Got em! LOL! When I was in Japan (4 years), the bike gangs would run the streets with pipes and other such weapons beating rival gangs/cars/whatever as they rode. Wasn't uncommon for the police to stop traffic and run a rope accross the road. I watched a guy slide for about 100m after hitting a rope. It was awesome... |

Did a quick perusal of some tuber Buell info I have and the internet and: The S2 tank bag was Nomad. The S1 (or small tank) tank bag was Boundary. The S1W, late M2 and S3/S3-T (or manta tank) tank bag was Quest. 1313 (Message edited by 1313 on December 11, 2005) |

hey guys, just to let you know, if you have progressive insurance (or even if you don't) you might want to check out this link. www.afa.net/progressive.asp I no longer have Progressive insurance because of this and I've got great news I saved a bunch of money by switching to you know who... if this is out of line with what is acceptable to post, then remove it...I just thought it was important to let people know what their premiums are helping to pay for...thanks, brad |

Dairyland screwed me. I got them from the stealership when I bought my bike...was the only way I could get out the door with it that day without making another 3 hour ride to the show the next day...blah, blah, blah... But I got much better rates and coverage through State Farm. I have 4 vehicles insured with them now, so yea, I get discounts, but still...was a joke what Dairyland was charging me. I guess it's hit and miss...location maybe. Dunno. I've never had an accident and no tickets (on my record) for 10 years. |

geico... you know the corny comercials where all of the sudden someone says excitedly " I've got great news...I just saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico." I thought it was funny that i could finally say that, plus I get to take money away from Progressive that there chairman can't contrubute to the ACLU. |

I wanted to check out Dairyland, but I'm in California -- one of a handful of states that they're not licensed in. |

If you can qualify for it, give USAA a shot on some rates. |

USAA no longer insures motorcycles, plus they were very expensive. |

I was just reading the Cycle World article "Return to Imola" about the new Ducati sport classics. I'm grooving on the Paul Smart 1000 Limited Edition, and the Sport 1000. Love the fairing, ( the square headlight is not my favorite part of the S3 fairing, anyone know why it's square & not round? ) though 3k$ is a lot for it & better shocks. I think these are the best looking Ducks since the Pantah. ( the first ones I really liked ) Then I get to the back cover, & I'm drooling on the add, & get to "The 1000DS engine, the most advanced, most powerful Ducati air cooled engine ever built." OK?! I know I didn't pay attention to bike mags for a few years, but 84 hp is it? It's enough for a good ride, but this 14 1/2 thousand dollar really neat 2006 toy has 7 less ponies than my 2001 Cyclone? |

USAA no longer takes new motorcycles but if you had one they will still insure it.I had called earlier in the year about this same discussion. |

My '99 S3 has a rectangular headlight, which I prefer the looks over a round one. My overall preference would be an integral headlight like most bikes with fairings have now days. My CBR & ST headlights blow the S3's clear out of the water in illimination, both down the road and of the sides. |

I almost put a reserve downpayment on a Paul Smart before I bought the Uly. I still really like the looks of the bike but after seeing the riding position (ouch!) I'm really glad I bought the Uly. That asymetrical shock doesn't sit well with me either. I'm sure it works but it looks like a service problem waiting to happen |

Would you happen to have the stock ignition module part number for the 2002 cyclone M2 or know where I could find it. I have a after market unit N1306.01A3 and I think it's causing me problems, at 3000 Rpms the bike dies after a second or so I can start the bike up and it runs fine. |
