Ghostrider- I wish I'd bought the Blast at Glendale. That experience was 95% Ventura. Glendale was just the first stop since it was the closest dealer when the bike first broke. I'm not doing the Love Ride but there may be something going on at the Peterson tonight. Call Ernie for info. -Saro |

Just for clarification - the Petersen Museum Pre-Auction Showing this evening is free to those who are in possession of Love Ride tickets, otherwise I think it's standard $10 entry fee Any non-Love Ride participants interested in a ride up to the Rock Store this Sunday - it's FREE - the weather should be great and the crowds should be mellow (or not)... |

Nope. The Peterson was free, as were the drink tickets handed to Steve Natt and I, by a lovely young lady. The museum was great. The auction lots were okay, with only a few notable bits. BB King was freakin' great! |

Buell riders & sport bike enthusiasts, come to the SCAB (Southern Calif Area Buellers) meeting at Knowlwoods Thursday (Dec. 1) at 7:30 pm. It's a non-denominational (not brand specific), no dues, informal group of bikers who like to do fun things like ride the great backroads of SoCal, camp out at Laguna Seca's MotoGP and share our vast accumulated knowledge of bike lore and road trips. Everyone's welcome. Knowlwoods location is posted here. |

Damn! That's a hike. And only one day notice. I'm not sure I can make it that quick. That's gotta be a two hour ride from here in traffic. |

Well, I made it over to the show today. It was smaller than I expected. But there were good deals to be had on all kinds of gear. I got a jacket and gloves for my son as well as a two-piece set of leathers for me. Now I'm ready for the track days!! So, are there any Buell groups that meet regularly? Where are those meetings? When are those meetings? I'm going to need more than one day notice. I'm going to have some free ride time coming up around the holidays and after the new year. Looking forward to it. PS: Rhinowerx, nice site. |

I'm in N. Long Beach area. During these winter months, if no rides are planned, I like to head out to the RockStore on Sunday Mornings to meet up with other folks I know - and some I don't. We usually aim to get there around 10am, then head off around noon-ish to have lunch somewhere along PCH (Malibu/Zuma Beach) Let me know if you SoCal guys what to join us - usual meet point is at the Chevron, corner of Sunset and PCH, Pacific Palisades... jack at rhinowerx dot com |

Well, Jack, that sounds good to me. Unfortunately, I'll be toughing out the weather in Denver this weekend. Perhaps the following Sunday. Oops, that's the big Holiday, so maybe the Sunday after that! Either way, we'll hook up for a ride. |

Checking to see if anybody knows a good shop to get tires mounted. I have called a couple places around me (Van Nuys) and they only install tires they sell. My 208s are getting worn out and would like to get my Diablos on soon. Thanks, Bri |

If your up for the 'do-it-yourself' approach, and you can get yourself, the bike, and the tyres down this way (N. Long Beach), I have one of these you're welcome to use... |

Hey, SocalBeuller, did you try Redine Motorsports on Ventura and Van Nuys Blvd? They're a pretty low key racing shop. And Jack, I'll see you at 9 at the Chevron. Looking forward to it! Anybody else coming? BTW, Jack, nice Bowflex you got there. I've never seen one in red. |

SCBueller, I bought a Metzler Z6 for the rear of the Firebolt at Wheel Works in Garden Grove. Took it and the rear wheel to Del Amo Motorsports in Lawndale on Marine Ave by the 405 Fwy. They mounted and balanced the tire no questions asked for $21.25 in a couple of hours on a Saturday. Sparky |
