That has Street Tracker written all over it... Just need a Flat track frame 20K or so of extra go faster parts, and probably a winning lottery ticket for that motor... I still like it though... not too bad... http://www.hot-dock.co.jp/HR4V/pdf-plan/plan001.pdf goes from the stock harley 1189cc 88.8*96mm stroke 68hp @ 6000rpm 71.96ftlbs @ 4500rpm to 1360cc 95*96mm stroke 118.3hp @ 7200rpm 91.9ftlbs @ 6000rpm I wonder what it would do to our buell engines |

Notice that those valves are radially aranged? The rockers have a sort od ball joint arrangement with them I guess. I bet something like that would be great on a XB9 engine. |

Indeed, its quite a work of art. The only downside is that it wouldn't work out as nicely on a daily rider, tappets aren't all that fun to get to... (unless its a Guzzi or a cx) |

Hmmmm.. If I remember my history, didn't Harley build a 4 valve racing engine once a long time ago? Then, recall them from the track because they were too fast for technology of the bikes at that time or some such? I seem to recall reading something about it.. Then, after the fire at HQ, they seemed to forget all about it.. Go figure.. Would be interesting.. I wonder.. is EB thinking on those lines for the 'Next' generation? Hmmmmmm... |
