I was browsing some other sections and I noted where some of you use State Farm and get a multi-vehicle discount. Is this so? When I went to my agent I was told that I would not get a MVD with the bike because blah blah blah. When I turn 25 next year, no problem, but right now it's a king's ransom for insurance and I haven't been able to ride the last four days cause it's freakin chilly around here.

I believe that most insurance companies will not include a bike a multi-vehicle situation. They are insured on their own. But this came from my insurance agent and it could her perception. also, it seems that bike insurance is ALL over the place in terms of $$$, some people seem to pay thousands and some a few hundred bucks. I am sure there is an good reason, but I sure as hell can't figure it out.

You need to get another bike to get a multi vehicle discount. I tried with my car company and fuhgeddaboutit. I found Sentry Dairyland Insurance compliments of the BadWeB and I get a multi-bike discount, a Brag discount and a MSF training class discount. Pay $426/year for both bikes.

Hey Blake, when are we getting a BadWeB discount from Dairyland!?
