I ran into an issue with the photolab, I am having to scan by hand each image and well for something workable, it takes about an hour each... a teaser... it would have been really nice to have been down as close to the track as the photographers from the other pics... |

Hi everyone, Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy flying to Chicago to go to my Grandfather's funeral. Anyway, looks like everyone had an outstanding time at the track. I'll be there this time on the 11th. I finally got a truck so my CityX isn't my only transportation. This way I don't freeze my tail at 4:30am going to work. Plus if I end up pushing it too far and end up upside down I still have a way to work. I look forward to seeing all who are braving the cold for a few hours of quality riding with great people. Kelly, sorry about your grandpa. Sucks to lose family members, especially around the holidays. I just got a call from Andrew and I might be getting my ride back today! If so, I will try to persuade the wife not to divorce me for going on the ride Saturday. |

Dark... When is the next BRAG meeting? Are we still having one this Saturday? Jane is going to TEAM AZ this weekend and I just need to know if I should plan on going or not. |

Mou5e, I need something I can take on longer trips. I've narrowed it down to a Honda VFR Interceptor, BMW R1150RT, or the dreaded Hayabusa. |

Dagwood, A client of mine absolutely LOVED his VFR. It was a sweet looking ride too, along the lines of Carey's bike...red with black accents. The single sided swingarm and undertail exhaust gave it a really clean look. I think out of the 3 choices it'll be the best handling of the bunch with a lot of versatility if you get the hard bags. I was looking at cycletrader recently and there were three really nice ones...just went there now and I only found one: http://adcache.cycletrader.com/5/0/8/81620108.htm |

Oh yeah...don't forget to look at the FZ1. A guy a play poker with has one. Comfy ride with a lot of juevos. Found one on cycletrader here: http://adcache.cycletrader.com/5/0/1/81774101.htm |

Thanks Brian, The Interceptor is a great bike. I like the Asphalt Black one. Nice looking. My wife thinks the Busa is sexy. That's almost like a green light for the purchase!! Not a big fan of Yamaha. I had a YZ80 as a kid and it was junk. I'm sure they're better now, but my RM125 was flawless. The Beemers are soooo expensive. Anyway, I'm just dreaming right now. Gotta sell the Buell. |

In Phoenix? I'd rather not have my boys cooked. Those things radiate heat like mad!! And they look like crap IMO. |

Here are some pics of our monthly ride. It was a brisk one but very nice a subtle ride, despite the break down of my bike in the spars. Turned out to be a ignition relay. Oh yea GABE was nailed by a car and he lived to tell the story, he only suffered a mild corinary and a broken footpeg. Most of the pics were taken at the site of the break down. Enjoy Meet up In the spars In the spars Don's bike Andrew's bike My bike Kelly's bike Rob's bike Gabe's bike My favorite types of signs This is where the bike crapped out Line up! A new method of bike towing. Pretty cool! Thanks Gabe. Andrew at 80 mph. I love this camera! See you guys next month J |

Hi All, I also had a good time on our ride through the spars. A few minutes of great riding followed by a few hours of waiting. Thanks Jeremy! j/k Also had fun flying down I-17 weaving cars with Gabe and Ron. To bad we couldn't show that guy on the ninja what real bikes can do! So I take it there's no meeting this Saturday? Only people who ride ninja's are people who don't want to pay $10,000 for a bike and have it leak oil or break down on long rides!!!

At least mine doesnt leak a combustible material haa!haa! Unless I overfill of course If we rode with a group of Ninja's I'm sure there would be some breakdowns. Its part of motorcycling. I dont mind breaking down on occasion, it keeps me up to speed on what I might need for a longer trek. When you ride the 5hit out of your bike things seem to happen at an accelerated rate. Thanks to good friends none of us will have to deal with the uneventful occasions they do happen solo. All this ninja talk makes me want to pull some roundhouses LOL!!! See ya J |

LOL roundhouses!!!! I know J, ALL machines will break eventually and no more combustible material leak here and thats what could happen when you have a welded together gas tank. Maybe you should carry a first aid kit for your bike with spark plugs, ignition module, voltage regulator, couple quarts of oil and............ |

I have not had problems with the spark plugs but the one thing I would add to your first aid list is a wiring harness. Only japanese tanks leak, Mine was made in Italy J |

Not true, when I worked at Chosa's I seen H-D's and Buell's come in with leaky tanks, all tube frame though. Why would I need a wiring harness??? |

I meant the list you compiled for me I would add a wiring harness to my first aid kit. Not true, when I worked at Chosa's I seen H-D's and Buell's come in with leaky tanks, all tube frame though. Thats because they were'nt made in ITALY J} |

Hello guys! Well you can dis the Buells all you want but I've not met many that can claim that a sedan shoved them out of the lane and their bike stayed up. I thought for sure I was going either under that ladies car or over the edge of Yarnell hill. But my XB9SX stayed on the road and refused to get knocked over. I'm a Buell fan for life now. As for Jane getting a bike. Well we've hit a slight road block. She didn't pass this the road test a TEAM AZ. Failed by a few points. Missed the box turn and swerve from what she was saying. So who has a 500 or 600 cc that she could practice with? We'll pay for gas. lol. |
