Jeeze, Maybe we'll just come down and ride by ourselves, instead of some immature squids. |

Hey Mike, I shot you an email with info on the Springfast2006 event. Don't worry about the squids, they'll grow up someday. The rest of us have moved or are keeping a low profile, but still keep in touch. I hadn't really commented on anything because I've been to busy laughing. (sorry Brian) I feel for ya. This all started it seems when Charlieboy mentioned the thread was dead, and I commented it should be kept alive to save bandwidth. But it seems that some folks took offense to that statement. What I meant was, instead of posting on BOTH threads, the same old , just post on whichever ones your "friends" frequent. That is all I meant. But some folks just take things the wrong way. So in the spirit of wasting bandwidth, go ahead and post pictures here AND on the other AZ thread, what the heck. The only one you'll upset will be Blake. And I'm sure he can handle things just fine. He's done a great job with this board so far. In the meantime, keep it all up, I'm LMAO. Have a Beulltiful day !!! I'm going riding... (Message edited by bartimus on November 27, 2005) |

See what happens when the Pisces leaves the thread! LOL! I have met all of you with the exception of Malleus I think... I consider you all to be online friends, some of you are in the personal friends category. That said, it troubles me to see this. It had been discussed before when the new thread first started as to why there should be another one. Jeremy, you said at that time August 6th "Charlie: The other thread will be more of the organizational thread of upcoming BRAG rides, events and general ????'S. I believe the name will suit a larger variety of riders (non buell owners) to be a part of something they didn't previously belong to. They will be able to see that Buell owners are a special breed of riders that enjoy the lifestyle just as much as the next guy or gal. Later J" No personal attack implied by quoting you, I'd just like to think it solves the current argument. I think the Az DTB thread is great and would like to see the monthly ride info continue there, as you said. I'd also like to see the AZ Buellers thread survive as a means of communication outside of the club. There's nothing wrong with that is there? That was the original consensus... <<Group beer drinking needed. |

I think there's also been a lot of jeering taken to heart. C'mon guys, we're Zonies, shrug it off and laugh! Passionate feelings always come across wrong in text... |

Let's try and nip this in the bud right now. How about SouthWest Springfast? Sponsered by www.quiturbichin.com |

Kobie: Consider it nipped. SouthWest Springfast sounds good to me. Charlie: Nothing wrong with that at all. No offense taken on the quote either. All: When I say "this is what I have been doing" I'm in no way trying to "one up" anybody just sharing the adventure J |

Carey, I am talking about "Springfast2006". It will be taking place in May of '06 and will encompass eastern AZ and western NM. It is already in the works, I started on it in August before I left. Shoot me a PM and I'll give you the details if you wish. You guys can call your event whatever you wish, there is not trademark on the name. Happy trails ! |

Hmmm, maybe we don't want "everyone" to attend. HA HA !!! OK, so AZ has been dropped from this event, instead the event will encompass northern New Mexico and southern/central Colorado. (now don't go getting your panties in a bunch just yet!) Here is the summer event schedule for New Mexico: May: Springfast2006 ----- New Mexico/Colorado June: Desert Dash -------Utah/ four corners area July: Rockie roads ----- Colorado August: Mountain Madness --- Eastern Arizona (Hwy 191) Sept: Fall colors ----- Northern New Mexico The dates and locations were shuffled around to accomodate the temperatures in the areas. Those are the major rides I've scheduled for the Santa Fe group. I hope this answers everyone's questions, and doesn't tick anyone off. If it does tick you off, too bad, so sad, but I'm glad !!! Charlie, (poke, poke) Is that good enuff? You Fokker!!! ......... |

Don and James, thanks for your support, I look forward to seeing you, if possible on some of the rides... Kobie, you can ping me and I'll give you the details of whichever ride you may be interested in. Have you gotten your chain and sprockets taken care of yet? Or are you waiting for Santa to bring them? CJ, Maybe you can hook-up with charlieboy, ride to Yuma, borrow a trailer and then trailer all your bikes out here? Don't be a scairt of him just because he's a Jarhead, he's really fun to be around, just don't let him open the Goldschlager until you get to New Mexico! Charlie, It would be great if you could attend one of the events. It's been awhile since we've downed a few together, and even longer since we've ridden together. this list is just the major rides, I have planned. There will be many local rides in between throughout New Mexico. There are two BRAG groups in the area, I'm sure they are planning a few rides in the upcoming year. Chicks HD/Buell here in Albuquerque, is changing hands. Not sure if the new Management will continue with the yearly Taos ride. I'm sure we'll squeeze it in on one of our weekend rides though. I'm riding back to New Hampshire the last two weeks of June and the first two weeks of July. (yea, 4 weeks on the road) Anyone up for that? hahaha The oldest motorcycle gathering in the country is in Laconia NH. It's just not as well publicized as Sturgis. It's been a few years since I've actually made it, got sick last year and only made it as far as Pennsylvania before being hospitalized. Hopefully I'll make it all the way this year so I can torment some of my family. Y'all have fun this winter and enjoy that sunshine. Or better yet, send some this way! It's about 24 degrees outside right now at 6AM. But it should warm up to a toasty 45 degrees by 3PM. but that's ok, I ain't scairt of a little cold... it beats getting scorched !!! |

Don! Bart, I forwarded the schedule you sent out to Eliz. A short while later I got a phone call. "And WHAT is this for?" she says. Thought you'd get a kick outa that. BTW, she says she'd like to do the NM ride as she has a friend in Las Cruces... |

So do we know what days these rides will be on exactly? I need more info than just the month in order to get time off. May: Springfast2006 ----- New Mexico/Colorado June: Desert Dash -------Utah/ four corners area July: Rockie roads ----- Colorado August: Mountain Madness --- Eastern Arizona (Hwy 191) Sept: Fall colors ----- Northern New Mexico |

no dates as of yet, still trying to iron out my own vacation schedule. the springfast and desert dash may be back to back weekends due to my planned trip back to New England the end of June, and beginning of July. I'll be on the road for three weeks at that time. Due to weather, and the the out of state riders needs, the SpringFast is looking more and more like it may be held on June, 2, 3, and 4th. But don't plan on that just yet, it's still a ways off, as usual, these rides are put on mainly for the out of state riders, and I try to work them around their schedules. As I get more input from them, I'll post the info here... Whoretimus 12 degrees outside, and I'm still thinking of riding after work, I MUST be sick!!! |

Went by Arrowdead to have my TPS reset the other day and saw a black XB with clip ons in the finished bike area. The bike was really narly (don't know what that means) showed some tremendous tire beading. Don't know who owns the bike (would like a name to place with the machine) but whoever has been riding that puppy as intended. |

Beading... You mean the tires were tearing? Eraser looking? That's a problem with tire pressure. |
