...well my efforts to upgrade the S3T's alternator turned up some good news and some bad news. (1) The 32 amp evo stator that I had intended to install as a replacement in the bike wouldn't fit. I'm not sure how the person who did that made it work, but it was a no-go. (2) However, replacing the thing with a newer 38 amp system from a newer Buell worked just fine. So the end result was actually better (6 amps more power)... |

So you replaced a stock S3 stator with a XB line stator and it charges at 38 amps? This is something I may be interested in. Would that allow your battery to recharge quicker? Any info you can give would be great. Thanks! |

I assume you also changed to a XB voltage regulator also? |
