will the race can off a 12 work on a 9 and vice-versa, or are they not compatible? |

I know the header is bigger on the 12, so I would think the cans are different. I'm not sure if the diameter is bigger where the two pipes come together, but I know that each pipe coming off the engine is larger on the 12. |

The collector is the same size (where the head pipes come together), and yes the 9 pipe will work on the 12, and vice versa. |

The race kit cans for the 9 & 12 are exactly the same. No difference in the internals either. |

thanks guys. i knew neither had the flapper valve, but wasn't sure if the internals were different or not, like if the baffling was different for the 9 vs the 12. |

For a normal use street machine is not the stock 12 exhaust pretty darn decent?... It helps make all that torque down low due to the "valve".. IMHO the only drawback is that it is releativly quiet compared to the race pipe... Anyone working on a more agressive sounding pipe with the "valve" concept still intact? |
