Well I just sold my much loved Monster today so my search for its replacement is officially in full gear. I've narrowed it down to either a used XB or a Triumph Speed Triple. I've read just about every post I could about buying advice on the XB so a big thanks to everyone who has contributed. One thing I can't seem to find is a chart or listing of all the available colors for each year and model. I know they're haven't been that many but a good solid list would help me in my search for just the right XB. Also, I initially thought i was going Lightning all the way but now the Firebolt is starting to grow on me. Any help pointing me in the right direction to some posts that discuss the pros and cons of the two would be another big help. I know the basics, just looking for some comments by people who might have lived with both. And one last thing, are there any lists of recommended mechanics in the L.A. area? I can't imagine dropping my bike off at Bartels and getting great service on a Buell. | ||

Colors...check out the buell website. A good thread to see comments on both Lightnings & 'Bolts is the one "Poll: XBS vs XBR". It is in this XBoard section of the forum. | ||

I never had any work done there, but Glendale HD is very Buell friendly, you might want to check them out. |
