If the roads are dry and the Sun is out, I suit up w/ electric jacket liner,Motoport jacket, good gloves and just go riding. Can't see going through MI winters w/o at least one ride every couple weeks. Too long till spring... RichieC |

Here in central Pa. I pull my bike in my basement (daylight that is) and strip her down to the frame. I clean and inspect everything and do any mods or upgrades I want. Put her back together for the spring. |

Put on the jacket, liner, gloves, thermals, etc. and ride. We might get a week or two where riding just isn't possible, but generally there are plenty of days that are cold and dry with bare pavement. Just finishing a DIY electric jacket liner made from some wire and my joe rocket rain liner. I'll post details and pics when done. I once rode an hour on the freeway when it was 17 degrees. That was cold! Couldn't feel ANY heat from the engine whatsoever at 80mph. Any longer wouldn't work - my hands were starting to go numb. Now I'll have the electric liner and heated grips |

Winter is livable in NC. Just pile on some layers and go for a chilly ride. That is one seriously awesome gaming setup. Is that GT4 on the screen? |

Winter? What's that? Oh yeah, that's when I have to put on my sweatshirt to go outside. Good to hear some reports from you NC riders. We'll be moving there in March, and was stressing about not being able to ride during the winter. Awesome sim-racer seat! I'll need to build one of those since that's how I deal with winter, summer, spring and autumn. |

Gonna rent a Harley while I'm in Aruba after Xmas. Two Harley dealers on that little island but no Buells. |

MadSx - You might even consider renting quads. They are street legal and can take you places where the Hog just ain't gonna go. |
