Anyone seen any new cool mirrors for the R? Anything that would look cool on my ride? Thanks for the help. |

Rizoma makes some beautiful black anodized mirrors. Check out their site. |

Not a replacement idea here. I like the stock's. I did augment them though... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/32777/126257.html |

Thanks 892. I put the stock ones back on for now, but I hate them. The bike looks so much more streamlined without them. Thought about some bar-ends. I'm not sure. Anyone have an R with some bar-ends on? |

You can get some tasty Italian Billet mirrors from Trojan or American sport bike for around a hundred bucks or so. However, it it pretty hard to beat the Third Eye bar end mirror available about $10 at most bike stores. Aside from the fact that they are not very expensive, they work great, don't look cheap and are very durable. Give you a much better idea of what is going on astern than the factory mirrors too. They are all black, very simply designed, and would look marvelous on your carefully detailed bike - but then, what mirror wouldn't:-)

Go with the CRG bar end mirrors ...avail. at several of the sponsors...however you won't find them cheaper than www.bevelheaven.com 130$ shipped to your door...the mirrors are all billet as are the adapters...what they lack in size they make up for by not vibrating.... |

Hey Tattd, I have Napoleons on my 12R. Turned down. Looks pretty tough IMO - very roadster-ish. The pics are too big to post but I can email them to you. I will pm you. Oh yeah, I also use little license plate bolts to fill the mirrors. I have the maltese cross ones from Dennis kirk. Looks pretty trick. Nice ride - I want to do the blacked out thing too. |

Someone posted a link last week for a set of very sexy carbon fiber and billet aluminum ones that bolt up to the stock location on the R's. They were pricey though, like $250 a set. I think they are made by Magical Racing overseas. |

Avail. with longer stems and in black anodized. Can't really tell from the pics but they are carbon fiber. I plan on getting a set next time I have some spare cash floating around. (Message edited by buelltroll on November 17, 2005) |
