Where do wrecked bikes go? I need a lower oil pump cap and the dealer says I have to buy the pump as a whole which is 180 bucks. I just got the damn bike and I cant ride it because that part of the oil pump is cracked. The part I have lightlighted is cracked. http://www.eliteops.com/misc/oilleak01.jpg |

Didn't a few ppl from the other thread you posted offered to send you that part for free? You might want to consider that first. |

Definitely take Court up on his offer first. For junk bike parts, ebay is an excellent source. There are bike-specific wrecking yards as well, but it would probably be hard to find a small piece like that from a relatively new bike; they'd probably rather sell the engine intact. |

I emailed him a day ago and no word. I need to find other avenues just in case. |

I emailed him a day ago and no word. Be patient. Court is a very busy man these days. Trust me, you couldn't have someone better on your side, next to Erik that is. |

Oh yea, when I removed it I found that only two bolts are holding that pump on. That scared me. The other two hold the cap on and do go as far to hold the pump in place. |

Cool. No promises yet, but let me snort about the basement. In the meantime, send me your VIN and mailing address to the address you e-mailed priorly. Court |
