I have just been relocated to 29 Palms, Ca. Riding year around is GREAT! BUT, the nearest service department is in Loma Linda, or in riverside. Both are 2+ hrs away. My choices are: Quaid Harley-Davidson, Inc. Loma Linda or Skip Fordyce Buell, Riverside. Anyone with any experience dealing with either service department, good or bad, let me know please. I have some warranty work that needs done and its almost time for a service as well. Thank you, Jarhead |

I relocated to the San Bernardino area last year and have only used Quaid to have a tire mounted. It was a tire I purchased from a dealer in San Diego and they did not bat an eye over mounting a tire that I did not buy there. It was $35 for the mount and balance which I thought was steep off the bike but no one else would mount a tire I did not buy at there place. Congrats on the relo to much better riding climate. I originally came to California through the good ole U.S.M.C. and decided to stay after getting out in '88. |
