Nice Dag! The Cityx looks awesome blacked out. Here is my R blacked out. I'm going to do the wheels, triple tree, forks and bases this winter. Did you do it yourself? What paint did you use? I'm interested how other people go about the same mod. (Message edited by Olinxb12r on November 07, 2005) |

Thanks. Me and a buddy did it. We used a high temp paint from an auto paint store for the frame, subframe and swingarm. Then we used a higher temp paint for the engine. The stuff we used dries to an almost mirror like finish that is rock hard after a few days of curing. I was gonna go with a clearcoat in the end, but honestly I don't think it's necessary. We used a bunch of blue masking tape and rags over the parts we didn't want painted. |

Here is mine. I went a different route and kept the frame silver but painted black and Carbon fibered the rest. Before: After:
