Alright Kevin, Spill the beans on Kelly. For the those that didn't make it... I broke a clutch cable mount at the primary on my M2. Not a dealer in range had a new one. So I had to bail out at the half way point. So what gave Kelly? Micah |

Well Micah, I'll tell ya, but first off I would like to say thanks to all you youz guys for letting tag along. Awesome weather, Awesome lunch, and a great group to ride with, thanks guys. Micah, I didn’t want you steeling all the lime-light, so i had to break something too. Turns out buzzing that little 650 over 100mph will do more than numb your butt, it will also vibrate bolts out that hold your shift linkage together. i went to downshift and there was nothing there, actually it was there but just dangling in the wind. I looked back at bruce as to say, "what the Fock?!". Then i realized that my chances of getting a metric wrench to borrow was slim to no way. Thanks to the owner of an adjustable wrench it was fixed in no time. In kevin's defense, i told the guys they were missing a perfect photo opp. About 8 buellies standing around on the side of the road while i fixed my damn metric bike. It was too perfect. I will post a few of the images i took on my website,.. should be online tomorrow or late tonight. Nothing too exciting, but still might be cool to see. |

If you have not yet done so, please go to http://www.frappr.com/sporttwin Look at that concentration of Buellers in the DFW area! Who's going to the motorcycle show in FW on Saturday? (Besides me and Micah...) |

Chris, I think I saw Cowtown going on Friday and someone else going on Saturday. I will be brining my two boys with me, so I won't be riding the bike there. I will still be there fairly early.... hoping for 9-10. I will be stopping off to get my Header pipe I had Ceramic coated and that will put me just a little later than I hoped for. |

I'll be there shopping for a new bike on Friday. As boring as it may sound, I'm leaning towards the new R6. I think I'd like to try the exact opposite of the bike I have now. A 17,500 rpm inline 4 should be that. It'll be interesting to note the difference between the bikes on the track. I don't care one bit about how street savvy the next one is. That's what the XB will be reserved for...(once she's had the engine rebuilt, that is.) The new Triumph 675 looks sweet too though. It seems as though it could work as well on the track as it does on the street. Decisions, decisions... I freakin' hate that my engine is done!!!!!! |

Dago, Am I hear things correctly? The knock at A&E was your engine giving up the ghost? |

Yep. It's toast. There are just under 12,000 miles on it, and I'm about 2-3 months out of my warranty. Hopefully Mr. Buell's fine company will cover my butt on this one. We'll have to wait and see. I'm prepared for the worst and hope for the best. From what I see in another BadWeb thread, the worst will run me about $4g and get me 110 rwhp. That'll be nice and all, but I'll be very disappointed to have to go down that road. It's just not what I want to do. |

Dago, So how’s the daughter? The Triumph demo rides are Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. The 675 isn’t due out until March, but maybe they’ll have a Daytona 650 or Speed 4, which might give you some input. However since the 675 is replacing the 650 they may not have either available to ride. I’ll be going to the show tonight. |

The bike parking at the IMS is on the south end of the exhibit building. It's the walkway that stretches from Houston St. on the west to Commerce St. on the east. I plan to ride some Triumphs around noon. Yall give me a call when you leave. HBJ, I would like to go (the weather should be nice enough for me) but it's a busy time at work and I think my rear tire may be questionable for inspection. |

Welcome Angela... Had a good time at the show today, Saw Bart,Dago, and Chris... Got to sit on the Ulysses with the lower seat, I can probably ride that one!!! Rode the Triumph ST today at the demo days. Rides nice, a bit more upright position than my FireBolt and it has a cool decelaration gurgle... First time I've ever rode a triple, plenty cool. One thing that tickled me was the briefing before we rode, the guy said,'We (Triumph) are known for our brakes, so take it easy'. Brakes, what brakes??? It had a nice seat and seating position but then I get back on my little FireBolt and damn it handles good and whoaaa, now that's brakes!!! Oh, and a guy had a Ford GT up there, now that's WAY COOL, and a bit expensive too... Next Subject, what do yall think about doing a ride one day, saturday or sunday in December??? Paul knows the roads west and south well but has plans the next few weeks... I was thinking about making plans for one day and making a rain or bad weather day a week later... What do yall think??? Or if Chris or anyone else would like to lead another ride up North??? I myself have plans for next saturday and I'll be gone the week of Thanksgiving but besides that I'm pretty flexible on weekend riding times given a couple of days notice... Lets get together and go riding!!! And remember, "I"m not SLOW, I'm riding SWEEP!!!" Kevin |

Oh, and for those that I missed at the show, sorry... Or were yall hiding when I walked by... The demo days at EuroSport are tomorrow (sunday)also. If you would like to ride, you better show up early. I wanted to ride the ST, which is a newer model,(popular for the demo riders that is),and showed up around 11:30 and got the last demo ride at 4:00... You can show up early and sign up for any of the demo rides on that day... Kevin |

Glad I got to meet some of you at the show today since I missed out on the demo day and the ride from last weekend. Welcome to the board Angela. Chris and I were the two guys you met at the concession stand at the show. Let's get another group ride going. Hwy 4 and Hwy 51 would be good choices. |
