Hey guys,

A buddy of mine is grabbing his Duc in a few weeks, and wanted to know if its bad to let the bike sit over the winter with half a break in done? Is it better to wait till after the winter to begin the break in, or does it not matter?

He should probably put new oil in before storing it because the oil can become contaminated with oxidants and it would probably be worse during break-in due to more blow-by etc...

Tell your friend to break it in right. I own a Duck as well, and they are as stout as they are finicky.

My last few bikes were broken in like this (with no problems)...
