Hey folks...

How does $10500.00 USD sound for a 2006 XB12X Ulysess... I'm also getting $4,200 USD for my trade in (2003 XB9 - yellow) w/13000 Mi... Does this sound like a good deal to you?...

You got a great deal! Even for the value on 2003 XB9S. Go for it!

Sounds pretty darn good! Might be able to eek out a little more $ on the 03 with a private party sale, but the miles will scare a lot of folks off.

I say go for it!

I'm in Virginia Beach. I got a good deal (I assume) because I've been doing business with my dealer (Southside HD-Buell) since 98... This is my third Buell through them... Your $10,805.00 sounds like a good deal too!

Just picked it up last night... I'd like to say this bike is AWSOME... The tranny shifts like melted butter... smoooooth... Right out of the box no probs fishing for neutral (this was an issue during break-in on both my 98 S3 and the 03 XB9S). Shifting is seamless in all gears, no kerr-klunk from 1st to 2nd either... Huge improvement!

When I picked up the bike, all the preloading was set for a 180 pounder... Needless to say I'm not... On the way home the handling was darn near freighting compared to my now traded-in 03 XB9S. Needless to say I kept the first ride short and got back to the house and immediately set the preload, compression and rebound for my ample carcass (230 lbs-ish)... As with the other XBs this is fairly simple to do and the only tool required not in the supplied tool kit is a 7/8" thin wall socket for the front fork preload... Rear preload is even easier just turn the preload adjust knob the recommended number of clicks...

Once dialed in, whoa! This thing has potential... It's not as "quick turning" as the XB9S... but it sure is close. For me this is a trade-off I can live with given the mega improvements in ergonomics as far as my 43+ year old body is concerned... I just can't do the hunch and go like I used to...

I think this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!!!

I'm attempting to keep the engine revs below 3K..
