Mtnchild(a.k.a. Along4theride) will be in town this weekend, I have her Blast up and running and we are going to take a trip to the twisties. All interested parties may join, I will give out more details soon, probably at the V when she is here to help set the times etc...

I'll be hittin' the mountains this sunday if anyone wants to meet and ride. This weekend- sunday at T.W.O they are having a ride called "The 50cc true grit run" Where they run 50cc bikes up 60N on a small loop ride to raise money for the local F.D-EMT's most riders wear costumes. Crazy Ron is Spider Man and he gos all the way with it. Ride safe and keep your eyes on the roads. I'll be up early bird and riding if anyone wants to meet at T.W.O I'll stop by before and after lunch. I'll check for post later on to see who wants to ride.

I was hoping to get to meet you guys but it did not work out. Rode Sunday but never did run into anyone on a Buell.We rode some backroads in N.C. that are nice, very little traffic and no law. I love my X but I am having a hard time setting the suspension up. If I ever figure out what it takes to get it right we will have some real fun. I am not to proud to except help so if you guys have any info that will help I will gladly listen.

He's a sponsor here and has a really good set-up chart he can give you.
Hope you get it straight soon.
These are rock solid bikes in the twisties.
You can also do a search in the XB section, or the KV.
I have had some docs on the subject, but I can't remember which computer they are were on. I'll try and find them for you.
This weekend I'll be going up, hope to see you there.
BTW, what's you bike doing/not doing, that makes you want to adjust your suspension?
Are you using the factory settings (not what your bike was set up with, but with what the book says is best)?

The factory settings were not right for me. I have the sag at 35mm so I know that it should be fine. Just seems like it does not want to hold a good line. Part of this could be me. I have been riding a motard for a year and it was so forgiving. If you did not like the line you were on just change it. Even in the middle of the curve you could change lines. I dropped the forks making the front end taller and it helped more then anything so far. I will get it figured out but it is different to anything else I have owned. It would just be fun to ride with some other Buell owners and see how they do.
