So tomorrow it is supposed to be almost 70. Who wants to go ride? I'm going to give my ride a winter cleaning and get it ready to be put away this weekend, so I'd like to have one last ride. |

Hey Cereal, Of course it's brass knuckles, who DOESN'T have some brass knuckles on their bike? That's a piece I make, obviously we had that one powdercoated. Glad you like it. Later, Justin |

What a nice day, so nice that my brother, Larry and I decided to take a little ride down to Springfield buy a sweatshirt and come back. It was a nice last long ride of the season. |

As Chris mentioned the Brag meeting this month is on the 17th, and we are going to do a dinner. this would be a good time for spouses and significant others to join you at the meeting. If you are interested in being there (rather than square) contact either Chris or myself. Also the December meeting will be the giveaway and awards for the mileage participants. I would like to have your current odometer readings at this (November) meeting so that the computations won't all have to be done at the meeting in December (anyone adding significant mileage between the two meetings can submit a revision). I will be calling as many of you as I have numbers for, in the interim, to flush you ladies out of the woodworks. The club only works for those who participate. I encourage everybody to ramp it up as the new year approaches. The dinner will be fun. See you guys soon. |

As far as the Dan Jackson premier, me and my brother are planning on going. I am heading out to danny's tonight to pick up my tickets. I called out there and they said there was still plenty of them left. I am not sure of how many of us are planning on going out there, but if possible we should meet up and ride out weather permitting. I will not be able to ride at all this week I am stuck out of town till late on friday. It looks like it will be great week of riding too. Later |

AMEN brothers, Ridin is at its best today!!!! Man these bikes love the cool weather I can sure vouch for that!! 47 degrees this morning and she purred like a mountain lion!!! Sam no need looking for milage lurkers, we need a contest for days ridden in a month club! that way us die hards (except rain, hey I can't help it, it makes me cry to get her wet) can get prizes for being seen on the street every day. By the way, I am in the market for a heated suit if anyone is looking to upgrade I will buy their old set. Paul F |

Everytime I log on to spy on all your posts here, all I get is the sound of crickets! WHAT A BUNCH OF BORING MOPES!!! Well, tomorrow is my second interview on a corporate job. This retirement thing may work out after all! I ain't filling out any deposit slips just yet... it could still crash & burn! First interview was with the COO of the firm, this one is with more officers of the firm and with a couple of officers of the corporation who will be a service contract by the firm that may hire me. Details are complex... and I signed a non-disclosure agreement pending the contract award. AND my being hired is conditional on the contract being awarded. I will and can say this... if this works out... the job will be a senior management position with the firm, the most senior position in the contract for service, and a pretty cool gig. I just have to see if it works out... wish me luck! By the end of this month I will have gainful retirement employment... or you will be able to see me at 23rd street and I-435 selling M&Ms to people waiting for the light to turn green at that intersection! Time will tell. Tonight I am buying some nice cloths for the meet & greet with the client... and I am going to Sam's club and pricing cases of M&Ms as a back up plan!!! |

Anybody know if the IMS in Ft. Worth is worth attending? I have been thinking about heading that way this weekend. The Buell website says you can get a free t-shirt with your VIN#. |

My thoughts exactly...hit the plaza, westport, go downtown, out to the race track/cabella's area. Whatever, it don't matter to me. I would rather be riding than sitting at Fuel looking at *blank*. Wait a second... Yes, I would rather be riding! |

Lee, I have been to a couple of the IMS shows. always cool to see the new stuff from all the different vendors. apparel, bikes, you'll definitely find something you need even if your not shopping for anything. I'd go. It's only an eight hour ride from here each way.....do it. If you go see if "reevu" has a display for their helmets and tell me what you think. I can't find a domestic vendor (or that much cash). Drake 6:45 at Fuel.... was thinking about checking out coal mine road, never been there, don't know what goes on there, but it's a bike spot I've heard about often, not far from the plaaaazuh. see you then. anyone else? |
