If I post a question about a Craftsman motorcycle jack, do I expect the manufacturer to come here and talk about it, even if someone says it's junk? No, I don't, and I doubt anybody here would. They weren't asking for YOUR opinion, they were asking for BadWeB'ers opinions...which you've been banned from. They got your opinion when looking on your site. So you can defend it all you want ELSEWHERE. When you signed up for an account (which you've done several times) you agreed to the rules which you are clearly BREAKING. And to all the non trolls, don't launch personal attacks against people, no matter how annoying they are, or even if they were to clearly engage in fraud (badly). Just calmly and politely point out the root issues, the truth will carry more weight then any insult you could craft. | ||

Man.. This is really starting to bring back some memories.. Of course, I also remember the guy that was here in the States, making some pretty interesting claims regarding his Buell 'enhancements'. Unlike others that may not of been sponsors, but were just telling the rest of us about improvements they discovered and even had a way of backing up (repeatable results on calibrated testing equipment). This one individual would constantly aggravate the situation by 'calling out' those that doubted his claims, while at the same time, never offering anyone the chance to test his 'offerings'. Unless of course they A-bought whatever from him. B-signed his 'sales agreement' (to keep him from getting into trouble with Buell and aid in his getting a job there?).. Well, for those that don't remember, that is what this is all sounding like to me. So, from me to you.. IF you have things of interest to the Buell community.. then help sponsor this site and offer those things by the rules. We really do patronize the sponsors here. If on the other hand.. you are a huckster, then please.. Invent something for a UJM and go to their boards.. Thanks.. | ||

This discussion has degraded into finger pointing and name calling. There is no longer any true discussion of the merits of the product but the reported and refuted merits of the maker. Chilli/Corjim you are not helping yourself in this case. By returning and claiming you are simply defending your product and friends but not providing any empirical data for your product it is your word against anyones theory, and your word has been shall we say placed in serious doubt based on your prior actions on this site. I would love to presume that all particapents in this thread are in fact adults, and as such can or atleast should be able to conduct themselves in a proper manner, or atleast be able to continue a discussion in a business like manner. It is a diservice to all when business is handled as seen demonstrated by the Teutles of OCC fame. I for one refuse to deal with a shop that demonstrates that kind of lack of professionalism. A lack I might add that I have seen from several posters on both sides of this coin. BuellerX if you wish my OPINION, then I feel it would be in your interest to look at the catalog for a company called Greddy. They produce a pod filter of much the same design appearence as that you asked about. An enterprising person could easily adapt a Greddy filter to an XB intake, however, from following that design style, they seemed to have fallen out of favor for non-turbo or non-direct ram air effect intakes. Make of the comment what you will, it is my opinion and strictly my opinion based on what I have seen of the products I have mentioned. | ||
