Bomber, I don't think those unmet desires are all that unmet. CJ said,"been lucky so far to be able to..." (sorry I just had to) |

Holy Cow xbduck, thanks for the hint, very poor wording on my part after my first comment !! CJ, are you entirely certain you wish your unmet desires to be discussed in this venue? No Bomber, probably not a good idea, wouldn't want to put anyone to sleep !! |

Dave, Do you think Buell would sponsor a track day at Road America after the race weekend as they've done before? I'm probably in regardless depending on the State Track and Field date and the end of the school year. |

I'll be there and plan on doing CLASS Mon/Tues after the races as always. |

CLASS is Reg Pridmore's school. I have attended it 7 years and recommend it. You will learn a lot and ride alot. I'm planning to be there too. Check it out at www.classrides.com |

Yea, I'm planning on making a couple of the BRAG rides this coming year. The Homecoming sounds like one to attend. And I agree, the earlier the schedule is published makes it easier to plan my vacation time... Kevin |

A track day at Blackhawk Farms would be alot more fun for the Buells. I went last year and it was Awesome. Appleton Buell, along with PTT hosted a few there last year. Maybe they could get one for that same time frame if BRAG didn't want to try and set one up??? Leon (owner of PTT) was a great guy and I am sure would love to organize an Buell heavy track day. |

Koz- good idea but CLASS is geared more to first time riders and teaches basics, plus they are very structured with their program. Lots of information and help. I know RA is a big hp track but it's NOT racing and the track is a good place to learn solid riding skills. I know of several Buell riders that want to go and I will go with them thats why I have suggested it. Maybe after they get a taste of it an all Buell track day would be great, but for first timers I recommend CLASS. I just did a day with PTT and enjoyed it but it was definitely favoring those who are close to racing/ aggressive riding, not a place for someone to learn braking/cornering skills with advanced riders passing them at speed. Just my opinion and prior to taking CLASS I was not comfortable at high speed corning, so thats why I keep bringing it up. Plus we will be at Homecoming (hopefully) and at the track on Sunday, so why not ride it on Monday? Oh and CLASS does have a advanced group, (I ride it now) and there is racers who will be in it. They alternate groups, A group, B group all day plus classroom sessions when you are not on the track to ask questions and get answers as a group plus learn how/why to do. Its a lot for one day. And you will get a lot of miles on the track. |

Never been to a CLASS event, but it sound great. I just suggested Blackhawk because the track seems more Buell friendly. Personally I would still ride with the beginner group. One track day does not = club racer! Like Clint Eastwood said "A man has got to know his limitations." |

Need more info!!!! Are you saying there is a CLASS session reasonably near where homecoming will be on the monday following homecoming? Oh boy. That could ice it. Buell? DaveS? Are you listening? That's the sound of my wallet yelping.... Class wants tires in 95% condition. If we ride into homecoming, we will need local help. If I came in on old tires anyway, I would just replace them with street rubber (scorpions) before CLASS and ride them home. So what does a typical CLASS day cost? |

Reepicheep, CLASS is always (well, for years and years) held at RA the Mon/Tues after the AMA races. I attended in 99,00 (99 S3T) and 05 (05 FJR1300). $275-$325 per day with a $$ break for multiple days plus a $50 credit if you just bought a new sportbike (incl Buell XBs) that they will challenge your dealer to match. Blackhawk would be much more Buell friendly. CLASS is for all sorts. There were several numbered race bikes with slicks last year in the "A" group, plus newbies and a Goldwing in the B group. |

OK, well obviously Road Atlanta is *not* close to East Troy. And I don't see blackhawk listed on the Class schedule. If there were a Class event scheduled reasonably close to East Troy that was even loosly affiliated with Homecoming and other Buellers, I would be *incredibly* tempted to do both. It would be a seriously compelling package. |

RA = Road America, not Road Atlanta. Road America is pretty close to East Troy. Maybe 100 miles. I'm thinking about doing CLASS next year. |

ALL S2 OWNERS! If you are coming to Homecoming, lets set something up so as to get a "family" picture. |

How about a line-up of sorts, side by side by year. All the 80's models since there probably won't be a whole lot of them, then a row of 1990-1994 models, then the 1995's, then the 1996's, then the 1997's, then the 1998's, and so on. Then stand way back on a tall ladder and snap a pic. Should give a fairly good representation of what is in attendance. (ps, I'm in a sellin' mood but am firm on the prices) I have no idea if I'll attend, depends on where I'm at then, and where ground-zero will be, and what the schedule is like. Would be nice to see the races next year though. |

(probably nothing since I'm priced too high for the current market values of the M2 or S2, how about a nice 2004 Sportster 1200C?) |

I made the DVD after begging and pleading for the orig tapes. I promised 1 wk turn around and sweet-talked Gigi for 3.5 months Who knows if it will happen again, but maybe if they like the DVD they'll keep letting me borrow the tapes. Orig tapes are mono Hi-8 but not bad at all. (Message edited by josh_ on October 19, 2005) |
