the poll is at @ TWO dozen shirts as of right now- that's a decent minimum for an order. I'm sure there will be another 24 by tomorrow night... maybe a hundred by next weekend... Go, Badweb (Message edited by tramp on October 16, 2005) |

Blake- if you could use any help with shopping vendors, ordering, etc., lemme know. This could be pretty nice- (someone's gotta go to sam's club or Costco and get a case of koolaid mix packets, one free packet with each shirt ) |

I'll take an XL for me and a medium for my wife (if they have XS available, I'll get one for my daughter and maybe one for my dog). I'm willing to prepay and wait for you to get enough orders to make it cost effective. Let me know. Stickers would be cool too. |

At least one large for me, Blake. It depends on what the final design is to determine if I want more than one. Please let me know if you need any help with graphics. (Edit: Stickers too!) (Message edited by pa_xb9sx on October 16, 2005) |

I'd take an (2)XL and (2) Med shirts. short sleeve, with or without pockets. Stickers would be a good thing too! Another idea would be those plastic or aluminum pads for your kickstand with the badweb logo. The ones that keep your bike from falling over on soft surfaces. I think this could be seen as positive feedback. And you're right Blake, we should be commited (Message edited by diablobrian on October 16, 2005) |

MBOWBOWWBOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWW SO, this company: http://customink.com/cink/r.jsp?E=butterflyhz%40yahoo.com&F=atc makes the shirts- I'd be more than happy to pay double the price in ordeer to cover shipping, etc., per shirt. Gildan 100% cotton... This is the design my girlfriend came up with for the Headless horseman Run I'm putting together...You can create/customize the shirt from right there- this is the firm that many major MCs get their shirts done by. Shame I can't have these ready by our run date, buuuuuutt..... a badweb shirt could be done nicely... |

Am I the only one thinking this? If so please let me know. But making a shirt and putting the oval logo is about the most boring looking thing ever. I wrote a letter to Buell (it probably got lost somewhere in the lack of cool clothing with creative ideas office) stating how of any company, they have the most boring merchandice... EVER! I mean what about a retro pegasus shirt or something completely new. They have had some creative stuff in the past, check Ebay. I just saw a used 1998 Dealer shirt (San Diego) sell for $51. I think past sales were weak due to not many people even knowing what a Buell was. Coming up on 25 years soon, the praise of the Uly and the XB line, I think they could try again. I do have a new long sleeve shirt from this year (it was a gift) and it's ok, but not really creative I also currently own 6 other shirts and 1 Hal's Buell sweatshirt (two pit crew shirts, one I wear and one signed by Erik that I will have framed as a cool keepsake with the original sales brochure for 2002 and my M2). Let's just do something extra then stick a rip-off logo on the front/back or a t-shirt. What about listing some of the Badweb accomplishments? 20th anniversary get together, race contingancy money, maybe some Logos from our sponsors? Make the shirt something really sweet. If you want to throw an extra $5 on each shirt for next years race fund that would be a cool idea too! If you want the boring oval, print a copy of the opening page onto the Iron-on transfer paper and buy a new Hanes T-shirt... |

Whats's shakin' Tramp? I'm with ya' on this one. Pockets up the price and just add a place for lint to collect. Unless you have a cool pencil carrier you want to put in it or are trying to hide one of your man boobs it is pretty much useless anyway. Put me down fora couple in small if pre shrunk, medium if not preshrunk. |

That's bada*s- A T-shirt with an emblem like that, and definitely with sponsors listed on the back, like sporting events and poker runs have, would be killer. Also nice incentive for potential sponsors to sign up for a badweb deal having their name on an annual badweb T-shirt... I know that you'd sell plenty of badweb shirts here and on over on ATC, for starters... The T-shirt/promo company that I linked to is agood avenue for using their clip-art to avoid set-up art charges....My girlfriend came up with the pictured logo for the Headless Horseman Run from that companies existing clip art and fontface. ..It'd be easy to just use a cool fontface and one of the motorcycle logos, he*l, they have couple pegasuses.....er..pegasi?... in their collection, so the badweb shirt could run a pegasus that doesn't infringe copyright (!!!!!!) the wide array of fontface there is great, and the cost per 100% cotton, heavy Gildan shirt is excellent. Figure the average cost for adding sponosr name sin smaller tyrpe and have the sponosrs cover that...It'd be one mean T-shirt that I'd do my best to wear out, quickly. I used to sell club T-shirts at bike events...UNREAL how many we'd sell each day... (Message edited by tramp on October 17, 2005) |

Pocket or no-pocket? No pocket, girls don't want a guys pocket tee, cause the pocket is located in the wrong place for us !! I'd LOVE to have a badweb cap, t-shirts are great but after a while wear out, a cap I can wear forever no matter how raggedy it gets !! CJ |

that'd be great- 'cept for the little tiny glyph on the lower right side.... also, most copyright agreements include a "in whole or in part " clause that would make the reproducer of said printed verbiage liable to infringement... (what a shock that the t-shirt idea, being i'm supporting it, would be blackballed by the usual suspect...in favour of something else) (smileycon added 12:12 PM EST) (Message edited by tramp on October 17, 2005) |

(what a shock that the t-shirt idea, being i'm supporting it, would be blackballed by the usual suspect...in favour of something else) If you mean me, then you simply misunderstood what I said !! I saw the picture of the cap and I like caps (my son too, likes when I send him cool caps) and thought that would be cool IN ADDITION to a t-shirt !! I like both and 100% support a t-shirt effort, anything with Badweb on it would be cool in my opinion. Obviously by voting no pocket I still want a t-shirt if they are made available !! Where do you see me blackballing the t-shirt idea ?? I just added as a rambling thought hey a cap would be cool too !! (Message edited by cj_xb on October 17, 2005) |

Blake, we should talk. A close personal friend of mine has a nice computerized embroidery business. Any design we want can be turned into embroidered logos, as big as we want. Shirts are easy items and I'm sure I can get us a deal... |
