Who is the best dealer to see about test riding a new Uly on a weekend? Only Manchester (N.H.) had any for testing, but you need to make an appointment and show up on a weekday. This won't work for me. BTW: I really want to ride the bike two-up for at least a half hour. I'm really looking forward to evaluating the new Buell, but the work getting a test ride seems to be a problem with potential sales (at least in this area)!! |

Sheldon's in Auburn only has one and I don't think they want to demo it out. Perhaps the Troy New York dealer? They seem to be "Buell-heavy". |

Gengras H-D/Buell in Hartford had an Orange one in stock two weeks ago. They would be worth a call. |

Tricklids, Jump on your bike or in your cage and take a cruiz down to NJ. I have my Ulysses demo ready to roll any time. Bring your gear, bring your passenger, and bring some time. Take the bike out and disappear for a couple hours... Till you get here, ill keep it warm for ya my self. Give me a ring. Thanks Seth Buchbinder Motorcycle Sales HD/Buell of Edison 211 Woodbridge ave Highland park NJ 08904 732-985-7546 ex6 |

I know Meredith was working on getting one, but I'm sure sure the status of it. I'm anxious to get my butt on one as well, but it's darn near impossible up here in the NE (Jersey doesn't count ) |

Seth, Thanks for the offer...I may have to take you up on it if I get some time before the real nasty weather sets in. Court, what can you do for me closer to home?? I'm in MA. Everyone....I see this as a problem for Buell. I've owned an S3 (bought at auction through Manchester and Boston HD)without test riding. But the new adventurer tourer has to be better than my Duc ST2 with 50k miles, which I love, at the kind of riding we do..so...I have to try one. Therein lies the rub!! Thanks to all. 'Lidz BTW: I even do a TV show riding a Harley sponsored by a local dealer ..http://www.theride.tv/ so you'd think it would be easier!! |

I know we usually have a demo truck weekend at the end of April...I'll try to get an answer out of Meredith to find out when/if they're going to get one. The biggest problem is that the bikes are in such demand that they don't want to keep a customer from buying one just to keep it as a demo. Remember when Buells used to sit around and there would be holdover models? |

Trik, I like that show. I look for it all the time on NESN. I'm just never sure of the schedule. IMHO your on camera image would be greatly enhanced if you were on a Uly! |

IMHO your on camera image would be greatly enhanced if you were on a Uly! Agreed!! I'm real tired of the Road Hog (King) That's why I've been bugging the producers to get us one. I was told there was a chance of grabbing one for awhile when they were being tested in Western Ma...but...it never happened. I was hoping to give it a try for a time to see if I'd like it as a replacement for the Duc. Heck, I might even BUY one...if...I can find one!! Maybe Court could help out in getting one to be used for our little TV show. Good P.R. |

Heres a different approach. Grab you gear and your passenger, hop on a train, Ill pick you up at the train station here and after your extended demo ride, you can ride your new Ulysses home... Oh, don't forget your checkbook. your probably laughing. Im not kidding, after riding it, the Ulysses will haunt you until you submit to its power. It will own you until you own it!! Ask me how i know. Seth (charter member of UA, Ulyssaholics Anonymous). BTW, Court, the next meeting is tuesday 10/18/05 on a dirt road somewhere.(heard you were thinking of joining.) |

Trik, If you take Seth up on his offer, get an EZ Pass first. Between the tolls on the Garden State and the break in procedure you will be insane by the time you hit the NY border. |

[Map Quest saz NJ Tpk..lotta tolls on that road too??] You only pay a toll when you exit the highway, so you only have to stop once. As far as break in, you can follow the owners manual or break the bike in the way I break in all my personal bikes......beat the snot out of it and change the oil frequently. |

Just an FYI - Meredith HD/Buell in New Hampshire has a Ulysses demo bike, available for a demo ride any day of the week (or weekend). Just give Heather (Sales Manager) a call to set it up. |
